This is the Barack Obama Top 10 Bloopers of 2009 list, a complement and follow-up to my Top 10 Obama Failures of 2009 list. The Barack Obama Top 10 Bloopers of 2009 list is exclusively related to unflattering moments that the man caused for himself by his own bumbling; the latter list was strictly policy critiques. Due to the popularity of the failures list, I now bring to you a compilation of Obama humiliating himself all throughout 2009; in these ever-darkening times of non-stop deficits, double-digit unemployment rates, and attempted terrorism, laughter at the expense of Obama is among the best of medicines.

After seeing that clip of “Red Eye” I’m so glad I don’t watch TV. The woman who didn’t speak was nice to look at, but the other people on the show are shrieking, unfunny idiots.
He started out by mangling the oath of office.
Seriously, name one thing.
He’s open to dialog with Cuba, which on its face is bad, but if we could get travel restrictions and embargoes lifted, Cuba would be flooded with American money. American money floods in, the people prosper, and maybe, just maybe, they’ll have the gumption to overthrow the dictators of that country.
That and the price of a Cuban cigar would go from $20 to $5, esp. here in Florida.
First runner up: Obama kills the fly
He went on holiday for two weeks in Hawaii?
OK, I’m reaching here, but if he’s stupid enough long enough, perhaps people will FINALLY wise up and never ever elect a liberal to the Presidency. That would be good.
Absolutely. First and foremost, he has woken up the sleeping convervative. Enabled many to see the dangers of his type of radical liberalism and created a correction back towards the right.
On a smaller scale, I appreciated his going to Copenhagen to fight for the Olympics as well as all the other times he is out of the country doing something that keeps him from making "change".
Number 2: Obama disrespects all cops when he calls the arrest of his Harvard professor friend “stupid!”
What better way to show that law enforcement is a noble calling and the men and women in uniform some respect than by calling a high-profile arrest by a policeman as having acted “stupidly.”
Obama’s action here led to his greatest drop in the polls.
Obama showed the world that he is a racist.
Seriously, name one thing.
He’s successfully pissed off SO many folks he’ll not get re-elected.
I think the open dialog with Cuba could be a good thing. Agreed.
If there had been JUST ONE THING he’d done that was good at all, it would have stuck to my brain like the burrs that clung to my pants leg when I ran through the wild fields of childhood. I would have gladly accepted those burrs. However, there are none. Even things like his pretend pose as Commander in Chief and his imaginary pursuit of the war in Afghanistan are carefully controlled scenarios designed to make him look like an unpopular “moderate” within his own, far more “left-leaning” Party structure. Once again, Reid, Pelosi, Dean, and an increasingly long list of deceitful boobs are willing to play “BAD COP”, as long as Obama gets to look like “GOOD COP”. They know how much is tied up in the public’s seeing Obama as basically “ a good guy”, and how much of that goodwill is necessary to be apportioned back to implementing the domestic policies
which are their true and only heart’s desire, especially now that the outlook for ALL of them is increasingly bleak.
SO-—I would NOT have expected ANYTHING coming from Obambi and/or his Administration to have ANY element of good, or useful, or helpful in it: they are ideologues who have been harboring the burning desire to put their own worldview in place for decades, and the election of their Avatar is still seen by them as a Revolutionary Mandate.
Well I guess if you think opening up yet ANOTHER route of the Terrorists into the U.S., you can support this ridiculous idea.
I’m not looking at it from an immigration standpoint, Marty. Think of it this way: we here in FL are seeing immigrants trying to cross the channel, but they fail or are killed in the process. At the least the human casualties would drop.
My interest is more in tourism and trade. I appreciate your standpoint, but I think you’re being a little short sighted. For a neighbor so close, we should have open trade with Cuba provided they don’t oppress their people.
dont oppress their people.
There is the rub.
As long as Castro is breathing, I wonder if people will start to demand freedoms?
Maybe he is now just an antique from the good ole bad days.
That was my thought. If you've ever been on a Caribbean cruise, you've seen the poor and destitute areas of many of the islands, but the people thrive because tourism brings in foreign money. If the Cubans bring back tourism, they'll see a boom like it was 1950 again, and exports would easily increase as demand for Cuban cigars and other luxuries go up.
