President Obama returns to the White House Sunday night amid new questions about the effectiveness of our fight against terrorism.
The failed terror attempt on a flight to Detroit raised new concerns about the response to the threat. When the President leaves the island paradise of Hawaii, he'll come back to questions about who is to blame for the terrorist near miss on an airliner in Detriot and even more questions about what's being done now to keep the nation safe.
The Christmas Day terror attempt is bringing flashbacks to post 9/11 frustration: warning signs existed, but weren't pieced together.

According to Politico, starting at midnight there will be a new normal for international passengers traveling into the US. All passengers will received tightened random screening and 100 percent of passengers from 14 terrorism-prone countries will be patted down and have their carry-on items searched.
President Obama is cutting his vacation short and will return to Washington Monday, a day earlier than planned. First on his list will be addressing the series of new questions about national security.
Must not have been having much luck finding those terrorist planners out on the golf course.
Guess he’s making up for the 3 hour delay in telling him about the attack.
Oh, btw, we need to stop pushing the MSM line of a “failed” attack. It was not “failed”; while they didn’t kill everyone on board, they did manage to terrorize the flying public - exactly their intent.

No, that time was 12:01 pm January 20, 2009. Up until that point, the adults were in charge.
We just so happen were in the last row of the plane, 44, and the Muslim gal was 3 seats ahead of us, the Sikh guy was 2 seats ahead of us on the other side. I'm wondering, did they both get a crotch search? A total cavity search? I knew they hadn't, so it was tension city all the way to Seattle. Did anyone talk with them, interview them, like the Israelis do? I'm sweating bullets when she went to the bathroom. I know Sikhs don't like Muslims, but thought it was maybe a cover. Their proximity bothered me. I'm 65 but was ready to pounce if need be. I honest to God almost didn't get on the plane.
It's time you had our whole TSA start taking "read" lessons from the Israelis, and interview and do thorough searches if necessary, and yes, now crotch searches if indicated.
Anyway, we made it, but unless things change, it's just a matter of time until 300 men, women and children get killed. There were a lot of kids on the plane. . .

We’ve seen the pictures and videos and read the reports of Barry spending hours and hours on the golf course every day
and picnicking and going to the beach and sunbathing
and playing tennis and going out for long dinners and eating shave ice and seeing Avatar.
And yet, the New York Times captioned a picture of Barry on the golf course this way-
“ President Obama squeezed in a few vacation activities between terror briefings.”

Just FYI and no offense meant...you had nothing to worry about the Sikh guy. Sikh’s are not followers of Islam and have faced attacks from Muslims living in their areas of India/Bangladesh etc.
Sikh’s for the most part are on our side in this fight.
Their only opposition has been to not have the mens hair-wraps removed. When the TSA came out with the request for some Sikh men to remove their hear-wraps, the community simply asked for another non-invasive way to check their wrappings, metal detectors etc. Given their hair is not cut and can literally be 10’ long (on some) and that it takes hours to wrap their heads, not to mention displaying their hair is against their beliefs I can understand their concerns.

I thought that possibly some Muslims would attempt to use a Sikh hair-wrap to smuggle something onto a plane. If that was the case though, they would use any ethnic/religious garb in their attacks.
So far the pattern has been to either to openly dress as Muslims or to dress in western clothing in an attempt not to draw attention to themselves.
Uh, can you imagine having to pat her down? Time for an early retirement.
Bambi’s gonna miss his shave ice - he may need to have a Snobama flown in daily for awhile, or perhaps even transport the Snobama “chef” to the WH, ala the pizza incident.
