As Susan notes below, a bipartisan group of lawmakers is urging the Obama White House not to go forward with plans to send a number of Yemeni terrorists now being held in the Guantanamo Bay detention facility back to their home country. But the Obama White House insists it will continue to send those Gitmo inmates to Yemen -- a country now recognized as a hotbed of terrorism so dangerous that the U.S. has decided to close its embassy there.
On Fox News Sunday, top White House counterterrorism adviser John Brennan said the administration "absolutely" intends to keep sending Guantanamo prisoners to Yemen. The administration has sent seven detainees to the country, Brennan said, with six of those sent in December. "Several of those detainees were put into Yemeni custody right away," Brennan said. He did not elaborate on how many is "several" or where the other Guantanamo inmates sent to Yemen might be today. But he said the U.S. has faith in Yemen to handle the situation. "We've had close dialogue with the Yemeni government about the expectations that we have as far as what they're supposed to do when these detainees go back," Brennan said.
Given that, host Chris Wallace asked, "You are going to consider on a case-by-case basis sending more Yemenis back to Yemen?"
"Absolutely," said Brennan.

I cannot imagine that anyone with half sense and one eye or even an idiot libtard would think sending those people back to Yemen is reasonable.

Hahaha every day I think I can’t get more upset that we have a Moslem Marxist in the Oval Office.
Yet every day, he pulls some CRAZY stunt that tops all his previous crazy stunts.
He should go into the movie business — it’s almost impossible to keep topping yourself DAY AFTER DAY for a year. Nobody else can do it.
So what if al Qaeda used Gitmo as propaganda? If they don't have that, they'll just find something else, real or imagined. Totally stupid to close Guantanamo, but most stupid of all to close it because of what al Qaeda might say. The macho Arabs are laughing their asses off at this, and also the released prisoners who went right back to their jihadi ways.
It'd save everyone a lot of time and energy, and we'd be "shovel ready" to clean up and bury the dead American bodies.
I never visit the DU site...in fact in 10/08, that site is what drove me to FR and I knew I was home. I vowed never to go back there but have noticed that some FReepers keep an eye on them.......what are they saying over there? Are there any of them concerned with any of these things going on? Anyone here visited recently?

Or maybe not...just suppose that the plan to stay in power requires ongoing terrorist threats. What better way to facilitate this than through a.) a public trial in New York where all of our methods and intel will be revealed to the world, and b.) supplying terrorist training camps with experienced terrorists.

What we're seeing on a daily and even hourly basis is the carefully planned destruction of America and they're doing a hell of a good job. If you're incensed now, you better gather yourself because they are just starting.
