NBC's Matt Lauer, on Monday's Today show, used the occasion of the bombing attempt of Northwest Flight 253, to press Republican Senator Jim DeMint to stop being the last "hold-out" and "come around," on approving Obama's pick for TSA director Errol Southers. However Lauer failed to mention Obama took eight months to make his choice as well as the fact that DeMint is concerned that Southers' choice could lead to collective bargaining that would "bring the security concerns of TSA under the authority of union bosses

What's a nobody like Matt Lauer doing on a nothing show? Who cares what he says?

what, Matt Lauer has done investigative journalism to know whether “erroll” should be vetted?

Given how spectacularly BAD have been the nominees obama has so far installed

It does appear “erroll”’s major qualification to head the TSA is his skin color

Yes, please ... stand your ground.

Matt Lauer is just another liberal putz trying to spread his kool-ade.

The program is specifically targeted to women. It’s breathtaking the unfiltered ‘stuff’ that oozes out of it. In this instance, DeMint was there to set the record straight.

That’s probably a less than 1% occurrence on the program.

It’s all wrapped up in girlie things. Things are stated as fact that really aren’t. The propaganda value is off the charts.

I keep hoping that they do one of their “Where in the World is Matt” things and don’t bother to look for him!

...continues from 6.

The interesting thing is, women tune in to the program because it’s politics free. Sure there are short snips like the DeMint interview where the politics is overt, but the rest of the show is not politics free.

Politics is woven into just about every fabric of the program.

As a dedicated viewer if they agree with that, and they’ll tell you you’re crazy.

Ah no, an amazing amount of what is presented on the show, is focused on the perfect little utopia socialism always promises to be.

No security agency should be under a union contract. TSA’s employees are adequately protected by civil service regulations.

Like Katie Couric-AKA The “Gummy Bore”, who got sh!t canned from CNN back in the day— Lauer is a veteran of getting the boot from a number of low-to-mid level news jobs. He got in with Today, AKA “News -Lite”, where he displays the insight of a slow-learning garden slug when he isn’t dressing up as obnoxious Al Roker’s b!tch—a few years ago, Al was P. Diddy and Lauer was Jennifer Lopez—if J Lo had a nose like a toucan...

DeMent is a solid guy—he better not capitulate to these scum—we need the Terminator-not Mr. Rogers.

Why did they form HLS if they conveniently left out the key issue - agencies not talking to each other? absent that requirement, it’s nothing but a large behemoth that swallowed up a lot of smaller behemoths.
