You darn tooting my mileage vary. How many crime reports have you taken for people who committed burglaries to feed their ADDICTION to crack? How many times have had to go to someone’s house to tell them you found their son or daughter overdosed on heroin in the local cemetary? How many times have times have you fought the guy on PCP who was naked in the middle of the street, proclaiming to be JEBUS KWYS? Or the meth tweaker that hasn’t slept in four days, driving like a maniac and IMMEDIATELY assaulting you when you pull them over? Guess I was just being ignorant all those times.

BTW, I think MJ should be legal. But the others? No way, no how. I and hundreds of thousands of other law enforcement officers will fight any attempt to legalize those substances. They are far too destructive and we have the experience and the evidence to prove it.

...their ADDICTION to crack?

So, your reading ability is nil, and your kneejerk was expected.

I posted comments about medicinal use of mj and opiates. From that, you leap to pcp and meth. Your panties sure are twisted up this morning, and have apparently cut off the air supply to your brain.

I don't take crime reports, but I have inhaled! I do not support illegal drug use. I take mine neat, with a Dominican cigar!

Law enforcement should have no say in the making of our laws. That is a clear conflict of interest and the fact it is allowed shows how corrupt our lawmaking process has become.

In the past it was not allowed, but because our lawmakers can be bribed with police union money, they permit it.

Police unions are now allowed to lobby for laws that financially benefit police, which is completely unethical and wrong.
