Many are puzzled that Democrats persist in ramming unpopular and destructive legislation down our collective throats while seemingly unconcerned by their plummeting poll numbers. A widespread belief is that the Democrats are committing political suicide and will be swept from one or both houses of Congress with unprecedented electoral losses next November. But since Democrat politicians rarely do things that will not ultimately benefit themselves, this column asked two weeks ago: "what do they know that we don't?"
We may have found out. It's called universal voter registration. The Wall Street Journal's John Fund described the Democrat plan recently at a David Horowitz Freedom Center forum. Watch the video (at link):

The Democrats know full well that nationalizing health care will lead to perpetual victories for them. That’s why they are willing to take a short term loss for a more permanent gain later on.
Publius has a good point, at least for us. We are one of many here at FR that is stuck with dial up. It takes forever for video to load on dial up, if at all.
Any video over a minute in length isn’t going to be downloaded as it can take more than an hour to do so.
For us it’s a price we have to pay for living in the sticks.
An alternative is to go through all the comments to glean what one can of the content of the video by the content of the discussion. Often one can pick up enough to know, but then too often not.
It’s nice when a thoughtful FReeper, which does happen will post text of the video if available.
With 2010 being here, it will be truly a repeat of 1994.
Plus women voters, black voters, illegal voters, poor voters, old angry men voters, etc.
This, coupled with Obama/Biden’s 500 billion buys a lot of dead voters. Illegal immigrants usually have 2 or 3 ID’s too.
As you look at the Demonrats doing this skulduggery, you realize we need to get our politics a whole lot smarter! And soon.

We need a weekly planner on action details that ALL who really want “hope and change” = the right way - starting in 2010 elections all over this nation.

This is a national takeover by a well-funded-and-organized cabal of internationalists. It’s history spans centuries and they are making their big move now.
As pointed out a couple of days ago here on the FR, they started to dumb us down in the government schools in the 1850s and proceeded with such Socialism as John Dewey’s philosphies and methods and Montessori’s, proceeding to aetheism, diversity, and now homosexuality, breaking down the family.
Perestroika and Glasnost were, in truth, the opening of channels of Communism to flow from Russia into America, financed as Marxism always is by the Rothschild/Rockefeller/Morgan (and more) bankers. Follow the money and you wil find the politics.
When the Democrats want anything, they just buy it, including people and politicians. Legality? Constitutionality? Ha! When you have the massive percentage of the world’s money that they possess, you don’t worry about legality. You have enough money to buy the lawyers AND the judges and the politicians and the voting public, and they did. Their Obama advertising barrage worked and the people gave an incompetent idiot the White House for four years (at least) and the country to the New World Order.
Get the states’ attorneys general to file motions and threaten court action like they are doing on healthcare. The Feds have intruded on State’s rights if they even try this.
