Conference Cmte Bypassed, House Will Vote on Pro-Abortion Senate Bill
Washington, DC -- Congressional Democrats and President Barack Obama have made it official: they will bypass a public, formal conference committee and negotiate behind closed doors on a final version of the pro-abortion health care bill. The decision will have the House taking up the Senate version of the measure.

I guess we’re going to find out very soon just how serious Bart Stupak and the pro-life Catholic democrats in the House really were.
Wonder what Sestak and company will do.
Doesn’t this mean that the bill that passed the Senate will not be changed, letting the House actually pass this bill in one vote, rather than requiring the Senate to revote on a compromise of some sort?
I don’t trust the “Blue Dog Democrats” enough on this. If they pass it, we’re screwed.

Pubbies are not on board. Some Dems are not on board. Nancy shoved another bill down their throats this way before ... I don’t believe they were all ‘happy campers’ even though the bill passed.
If she does it again there could be some real repercussions for her (hopefully) from within her Dem ranks.

I hope that Stupak and his crew do what they said they would. This is such an atrocity. Get the Constitutional lawyers ( yeah I hate em but...) going immediately.
I called my congressional rep and said he needs to get his arse back up there now and stand in front of those closed doors (any closed door for that matter) grab a CSPAN camera crew (you know they are cotton-pickin’ ready for this damnit) and stand in front of that camera and point at that closed door and say “I have never felt more like a soviet “communist” slave citizen than today”...
You guys and gals need to get on the horn and get our folks back to work now...Obviously the democrat leadership doesn’t feel the heat enough...
