...I am seized by each, and moved by its potential to change our world.

Return of the Automobile as a Sexual Object ...That’s why the Obama administration — while it still holds the keys to the big automakers — ought to put some style fascists into the mix...

Intellectual Property Developers ...A decade’s worth of music file-sharing and swiping has made clear that the people it hurts are the creators... and the people this reverse Robin Hooding benefits are rich service providers, whose swollen profits perfectly mirror the lost receipts of the music business...

An Equal Right to Pollute (and the Polluter-Pays Principle) ...each person has an equal right to pollute and that there might somehow be a way to monetize this. By this accounting, your average Ethiopian can sell her underpolluting ways...

A Person and a Word ...angiogenesis inhibitors ...In a world worrying about whether it can afford health care, advances in prevention are at a premium....

Matter Doesn’t Matter ...it seems to have something to do with teleporting properties or bits of information, not physical objects...

Festival of Abraham ...The idea is an arts festival that celebrates the origin of the three Abrahamic religions: Judaism, Christianity and Islam....

People Power and the Upside-Down Pyramid Much has been written about the profits to be made at the bottom of the pyramid; less has been said about the political power there...

Taking the Fight to Rotavirus

Viva la (Nonviolent) Revolución “I am living testimony to the moral force of nonviolence.” (Obama)

So, he might have added, are the Germans and Eastern Europeans who came out a couple of months ago to celebrate the anniversary of the fall of the Wall

Without access he’d be just another John Lennon pontificating from a luxury hotel suite.

...I’m glad he’s getting ripped off by the file sharing crowd.

Some of the incoherence may come from my 300 word parsing of an itemized 10 point list.

But I wanted to excerpt his calls for fascist and marxist “solutions” to some “issues”.

And “non-violence” didn’t tear down the Berlin wall. It was the beginning of the ‘end’ of the Cold War which came in part through an arms race.

And Barack’s pal William Ayers didn’t become somebody through “non-violence” (although Ayers DID claim that just sitting by and letting the Vietnam War rage WOULD have been a violent act).

Nope. I read the whole thing. The incoherence came from Mr. Oh No Bono... and the NY Times of course.

Hey Bono, how`s it feel to have a tax nick-named after you you tax dodging holier than thou dumb ass ?

.
.

Ireland’s Finance Minister Brian Lenihan has introduced new measures that will hit the Irish rich where they live, literally. Major figures such as Bono and others members of U2, as well as many leading businessmen, are essentially tax exiles from Ireland despite being citizens.

Now however, if you hold an Irish passport and have extensive holdings in Ireland, Lenihan said he will introduce a $300,000-per-year levy on “all Irish nationals and persons domiciled here who earn more than $1.5 million in income worldwide, and who have capital located here worth more than $7.4 million.”

Lenihan was speaking as he introduced the toughest budget in living memory, seeking $5.9 billion in cuts, mainly from the public-sector workforce to try and cut down Ireland’s ballooning deficits.

The levy, which some are already facetiously calling the “Bono Tax,”

He is still beholden to the corporate suits who have ripped off money from many artists for DECADES. Warner has proposed making all digital content (including downloads) free in exchange for owning a share of their talent (slaves), owning a slice of performance money, endorsement money, appearance money, acting money, anything you do that draws income. Warner wants a cut of it just like the IRS.

I look forward to the Festival of Abraham. That should end up a nice bloody mess. Oh that’s right “non-violence” solves everything. I guess they won’t be needing any security... you know, big nasty mens with guns. ;-)

Globalist Warming Scare campaigns to redistribute of wealth in the name of “pollution equity” is where the money is. Music industry just makes you famous, Al Gore can make you a Bishop.

People playing music is forbidden. Especially in the Forbidden Zone where Christians and Jews claim to have once lived.
