Recently finished The Moon is a Harsh Mistress.
What's it too you? Maybe he was heading to the gym before his shift. Maybe he was on his way to his girlfriend's house. Maybe he was coming home from the bar.
It does not matter what he was doing out. I'm just glad he plugged the punk and saved society a lot of grief and expense.
