Is the Secret Service Targeting the Birthers?

Over the past year, Secret Service agents charged with protecting President Obama seem to have taken a keen interest in the Birther movement, the committed group of anti-Obama activists around the country who claim the president was born in Kenya, not Hawaii, and is thus ineligible to serve. The idea has been widely and repeatedly debunked (see FactCheck.org's thorough takedown here), but that hasn't stopped Birthers from doggedly making their case in American courtrooms, to US attorneys, and even to a rural county grand jury, in the hopes that a judge will rule in their favor and Obama might eventually be removed from office. Those efforts have failed spectacularly, but they seem to have succeeded in placing the Birthers on the radar of the Secret Service.

Just getting the word out to those who laughed at a poster about having computer problems when posting about the BC, it has happened several times to me. BTW, I’m on cable and this is the only site the interruptions seem to occur on and specifically when posting about the BC.

I don’t care where he was born, I just want to know the President of these United States was vetted properly. If he was, then he shouldn’t be spending millions of my dollars skirting the issue.

Actually his grandmother claims he was born in Kenya ... of course she’s probably mistaken cause usually when you witness the birth of your grandchild its easy to forget what country you were in ... ;-)

Well, Michael Moore worked for them a short time but he was too "out there" for even them. :-)

He sued or something and they paid him to get lost.

With that info in mind, Mother Jones would be less homely than Moore.

Tell you the truth, I think the Secret Service is pretty dumbed down, like law enforcement across the board.

HOWEVER, dumbed down cops are worse than motivated smart cops.

Dumbed down cops go for the easy targets, peaceful, honest citizens who may or may not have broken the law.

Going after real criminals is dangerous (and besides they know every trick to play the system)...

The Secret Service's job is to protect, and investigate any threats to the President of the United States, to help and handle the protection of foreign heads of state, and to investigate counterfeiting of our currency and among other services....
I'll give the Secret Service credit where credit is due, but, this going after those who differ in political differences and those who are asking our government who have sworn to up hold the Constitution of the United States is a misuse and mis appropriations of funds, and resources.
The Secret Service agents must know in their heart of hearts that is just plain wrong to go after US Citizens who just want the Constitution of the United States upheld.

Mine was really weird. I’ve dot a dish.
When there is bad weather between my dish and the sat, I can’t send or recieve. My comp notifies me there is no signal. Without a signal from the sat i’m completly dead in the water. I recieved a message through the sat telling me I had no signal because of weather.
