FOX NEWS COMMENTATOR UTTERS THE TWO MOST OFFENSIVE WORDS IN THE ENGLISH LANGUAGE
The Last Crusade ^ | Jan. 08, 2010 | The Last Crusade

FACES PUBLIC CENSURE!

MEDIA DEMANDS APOLOGY!

thelastcrusade.org

The most offensive two words in the English language are not “Barack Obama,” “George Bush,” “staunch liberal” or “compassionate conservative.”

Neither are the words “f*** you,” nor any other expletive.

The words, according to Fox News Analyst Brit Hume, are “Jesus Christ.”

Mr. Hume has faced a maelstrom of criticism for suggesting that Tiger Woods, the professional golfer, turn to Jesus Christ in order to makeover his personal life.

Woods marriage has been wrecked by scandals of adulterous behavior not only with golf groupies but also professional prostitutes.

On Fox News Sunday, Mr. Hume suggested that the golfer - - who claims to be a Buddhist - -turn to Christianity for answers to his personal problems and the means to achieve reconciliation with his wife and children.

His remarks concerning Tiger Woods emerged from his response host Chris Wallace’s question about the biggest sports story of 2009.

Mr. Hume said that the biggest story concerning Woods and his admission of infidelities and indiscretions. He speculated that while the golfer will recover professionally, his comeback as a family man and a role model for young people remains a question mark.

“Tiger Woods will recover as a golfer.” Hume predicted. “Whether he can recover as a person I think is a very open question, and it’s a tragic situation for him. I think he’s lost his family; it’s not clear to me if he’ll be able to have a relationship with his children, but the Tiger Woods that emerges once the news value dies out of this scandal -- the extent to which he can recover -- seems to me to depend on his faith.”

For certain men have crept in unnoticed, who long ago were marked out for this condemnation, ungodly men, who turn the grace of our God into lewdness and deny the only Lord God and our Lord Jesus Christ.

Britt Hume has every right to suggest Jesus for salvation.

Tiger Woods is a Buddhist.

Being in America, Tiger Woods has every right to find his own method of salvation.

"...Tiger Woods that emerges once the news value dies out of this scandal -- the extent to which he can recover -- seems to me to depend on his faith.”

No matter what your take on AA or Al-Anon...the basic concept of the program has helped countless millions to stop drinking or change other behaviors and there is nothing else close...and it is faith based...and the basis of all the other "recovery" programs that try to mimic it, including so-called Sex Addicts Anonymous...even though it has been significantly watered down recently by the use of a "higher power" concept taken well beyond the intent of the original writings...and recovery programs are what the left is supposed to love...until they bump into the undeniable fact that the concept of "turning your life over to a higher power" is at the core...

He dared to speak truth in the face of persecution.

I think that persecution is increasing for all of us now.

When I went to visit family and old friends in Washington, DC over Christmas, I twice had people I had known for a long, long time ridicule me for being a Christian.

On both occasions, I had not said anything at all to provoke this.

On both occasions, I reinforced to these people that yes, I am a Christian and then dropped it. I don't suffer rude, ignorant behavior glady and figured that was the best course of action.

Many, many masks have slipped in the past 20 months or so. Once done, they can’t be put back with the same effect.

There are people, groups and organizations who have permanently forfeited my trust and goodwill, once they felt the confidence to express or demonstrate what and who they truly are.

I am always saddened to find that a ‘friend’ is in fact hostile, but I am glad to find this out as early as possible.

What's so stupid about all of this is that Hume was asked for his opinion....

Secondly, I might add that my understanding is that Woods is not a actively participating Buddhist. He just finds the religion interesting and I suppose that is because he finds it less judgmental or threatening to him on a personal level. It makes sense now.

This just makes me sick :

"He further said: “The most controversial two words you can ever utter in a public space are ‘Jesus Christ.” When asked to speculate about the reasons for the media’s vitriolic response to Christianity and the name of Jesus, Mr. Hume replied: “I think it is true that for people who are not Christian, Christianity makes a fairly extravagant claim which is that the Son of God — God made Flesh — came into this world, lived, suffered terribly, and died for the remission of our sins, and then rose again. This is a huge supernatural event, and a lot of people don’t—have a lot of trouble believing it. But if you do purport to believe it, the implications are pretty staggering. "

Well as I am not suprised to hear this, still at the same time I am just floored this is where things are headed, everything our founding fathers stood for, believed in, based on, is almost dead, it's pretty much like the devil himself is harder at work more now than ever.

I can only speak for me but this guy will end up doing one of these, before everything said and done.

SO IT BEGINS.

MORE IS COMING.

JESUS SAID HE CAME TO DIVIDE.
_________________________________________________________

Luke 12:51-59 (King James Version)

“51. Suppose ye that I am come to give peace on earth? I tell you, Nay; but rather division:

52. For from henceforth there shall be five in one house divided, three against two, and two against three.

53. The father shall be divided against the son, and the son against the father; the mother against the daughter, and the daughter against the mother; the mother in law against her daughter in law, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.

54. And he said also to the people, When ye see a cloud rise out of the west, straightway ye say, There cometh a shower; and so it is.

55. And when ye see the south wind blow, ye say, There will be heat; and it cometh to pass.

56. Ye hypocrites, ye can discern the face of the sky and of the earth; but how is it that ye do not discern this time?

57.Yea, and why even of yourselves judge ye not what is right?

58. When thou goest with thine adversary to the magistrate, as thou art in the way, give diligence that thou mayest be delivered from him; lest he hale thee to the judge, and the judge deliver thee to the officer, and the officer cast thee into prison.

59. I tell thee, thou shalt not depart thence, till thou hast paid the very last mite.”

Jesus said a number of things that are not so well discussed. We do well to read and reread His Word.

God help us in our day in Jesus name, amen.

I tend to think that Brit spoke out of his own experience at the death of his son, and how his own faith and turning to Jesus Christ was his salvation. No one who begins from a point of having no faith, and who has never faced a major emotional crisis of that magnitude, can begin to understand what he was saying.

Mr. Hume told the truth... Only the Lord Jesus Christ can deliver Mr. Woods. I wrote the following on December 22:

Everyone who cares about family, morals, honesty, integrity and moral decay in America, should care about the Tiger Woods situation.

Tiger Woods is a whore-monger who is good at hitting a little white ball into a cup: nothing more, nothing less.

Millions of Americans and people around the world have held him in high esteem because he can hit a little white ball better than anyone else and has made millions of dollars doing so. In reality, he is a wickedly sinful man who has massive personal issues that not only affect himself and his life but the lives of his entire family and the community at large. Given his sexually promiscuous lifestyle there is no telling what kind of diseases he has contracted and possibly infected his wife or others with.

He has destroyed his life and reputation... we should care.

Also, if you or I did what he has been doing and had gotten caught doing so, we would be in prison or had our names and faces plastered all over the police blotter reports as sexual "Johns". But unlike Woods, we are not one of the "beautiful people".

My hope and prayer is that Mr. Woods repents of his sin and comes to a saving faith in the Lord Jesus Christ before it is eternally too late because only the Lord Jesus Christ alone can deliver him from his sinful and deadly lifestyle and give him eternal life.

Isn't Tiger Woods mother a Buddist?I remember my house maid in Korea not eating meat so she could take it for an offering to the Buddha i though that Buddha was fat enough and should go on a diet so I told her not to waste her money and she would eat the meat herself..Funny she looked into the Christian church there..Rev Moon was the minister..

While the reaction to Mr. Hume’s remarks has been at once both predictable and appalling, and I agree Mr. Hume that turning to Christ has immeasurable benefits, and would wish for the sake of his soul’s salvation that Mr. Woods would take his advice, I would point out that Mr. Woods’ moral and marital difficulties hardly suggest that he is pursuing the Buddhist path of renunciation of desire and right mindfulness.

Were he a good Buddhist, Mr. Woods’ marriage would still be intact.

Keep in mind that a lot of people that have ridiculed Christianity have become Christians themselves. Paul laughed at Christians being stoned to death....well, we all know what happened to him. In my opinion the ridiculers are a lot more likely to become Christian than those that are apathetic. The ridiculers are interested, they are taken by the story which they find ridiculous but they are still taken by it and interested. In this way Christ gets his foot in the door.
