In an effort to take away our freedom and liberty under the guise of “reforming health care,” the Senate has sunk to new lows in its effort to gain favor with an inexperienced, egotistical president.
We have all heard the phrase “the issue isn’t the issue” and so it is with the health care atrocity that this Administration and runaway Congress are forcing us to swallow. Despite the fact that 60 percent of Americans are against these 2000 page tomes that give the government control over one-sixth of our economy and remove our choices, Congress, in its zeal to ensure that President Obama “makes history,” is ignoring us. Is that because they are so enamored with this legislation? I think not. Rather, they are in love with the thoughts of having total control over the American people — wake up, America. These people are leading us down a dangerous path toward socialism and communism because they crave power. Their insatiable hunger has led them to acts that would be considered criminal if you or I performed them.
Mr. Obama, Harry Reid, D-Nev., and Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif. — the unholy alliance —have shown the American people that bribery is no longer illegal. Mary Landrieu, D-La., and Ben Nelson, D-Neb., sold out—and not discreetly—they were openly and unashamedly bribed by Mr. Reid to secure their “yes” votes for health-care reform. (Did our illustrious Senators Bob Casey, D-Pa., and Arlen Specter, D-Pa., get a piece of the pie—or are they too inconsequential to matter?) I would suggest that we are now in a position where we must, of course, be fair to all — isn’t that the battle cry of the Democratic (socialist) party? That all must share equally no matter if they deserve it or not? In order to achieve that fairness, I would ask, “Do we open the prison doors and let all of those incarcerated because they were found guilty of bribery out; or do we open the cell doors and make room for Mr. Obama, Mr. Reid, Ms. Pelosi, Ms. Landrieu and Mr. Nelson?” I rather like the second option.
This Administration of transparency is a farce and Americans must wake up and stop basking in the precedent-setting election of a biracial president. Americans must wake up and resist this “history making” ideological agenda set forth by this Administration. We are not a country of ideologues — we are a country of hard working, faith based, morally sound people who are being steamrolled by a government that is eating away at the very fiber of our country. We must start working now to get rid of this cancer in 2010 and 2012 before it totally destroys us.
Just to be on the safe side Terminex should be under a special contract.
