Democrats need to stop lying. This bill is nothing more then an attempt to usurp Power. Bush had it right with pushing the Ownership society the more invested and individual is the more involved and harder they work for the outcome. The Democrats version is to take from hard workers and give to the lazy.... Nothing remotely American in that. The problem is once you give so much it becomes impossible to wean the masses from the nanny state.
Their entire philosphy needs to be challenged.

Stop Lieing, you rat-bast**ds! Dodd is a doddering fool who is retiring to bask in our money that he has stolen through “public service”. One can only hope that everyone who comes into contact with he and his family disrespect them, shun them and call them out for their corruption. Who gives a damn what he says.
