Did FreeRepublic assure Obama's election? (Vanity is my favourite sin.)

“When you take over a failing company . . .”

Don’t be a dumbass, Jim.

Republicans and Conservatives did not lose a company nor an organization. FreeRepublicans were so stupid they chose Obama or chose to cast a vote which elected Obama.

The question remains for those sensible FreeRepublic members, what are we going to do about the mid-term elections.

Obama was elected because many of you myopic posters followed throgh to a promise not to vote for what you perceived to be a RINO.

Fools.

Pleased with what you got in return for sitting at home?

Myself I proudly voted for McCain.

None the less I don’t think we could have won that one. The upside is that obama is the best thing that ever happened to the pubbies. Now it’s out in the open for even the slow people to see. They’re just a bunch of socialists.

And for your information your RINO-boy McLame would have lost by another 20 million votes had Palin not been on the ballot! She saved his ass from an even bigger embarrassment!

McCain lost by something like 9.5 million votes. Even if everyone at FreeRepublic sat on their votes, it still wouldn’t have been enough to cause McCain to lose. I agree those who didn’t vote weren’t considering the big picture or how bad it could be under Obama and were cutting off their nose to spite their faces—as well as failing to vote in Congressional and Senate races in 08 that could have elected Republicans and prevented a healthcare bill from passing, but that wasn’t Free Republic’s fault.

Given the vote difference between the candidates, I find that hard to believe. I would imagine that a lot of “moderate” Republicans got swept up and voted for 0. And you can’t discount ACORN and their band of “voters”.

There is something to be said for liberal fascism to be on display as it is now for all the world to see. He and the 111th Congress need to be removed now that the lesson has been learned before they implement any more hurtful policies. They sure did a lot of damage in a very short time.

The Republican Party and Democratic Party have the same masters. Everyone wants to play tug of rope when it is a no win situation.

People here act like Bush was not a war criminal, so how do you relate to the delusional. The whole system is rotten to the core and is run by criminals and for criminals.

Not really. Obama was elected because white, middle-class swing voters (the types who likely never spend time on political forums) went for Obama. Time and time again it has been shown that whoever is successful at courting this demographic will win the election.

And, FWIW, I voted for McCain.

I voted for Sarah Palin, but blaming the voter for a crappy (John McCain) candidate’s loss - is like blaming a woman for getting raped (i.e. she had it coming to her).

The Tea Party Revolution is all about fed-up voters tired of voting for the same-old-same-old. Those days are over, it’s a new age now.

I held my nose for McCain and voted for Palin. And neither were elected. If not for Palin coming on, I was prepared to vote for Bob Barr. I stand on principle more than compromising idiots who tow the party line regardless of how low it goes.

Sometimes the GOP needs to be slapped around and woke up to the reality that we will no longer tolerate RINO’s.
And allow people to see the results of their RINO’s capitulation by enabling the DemoRat agenda.

Now people can actually smell the DemoRats dirty diapers and know a real change is coming. They got a whiff of what their plans are. But it takes more than the cover of cosmetic deodorant to get people motivated.

Freshen up your attitude.
