The West in general, and our government in particular, indulges in pretending that we live in a fantasy multi-culti utopia land, where wishful thinking of noble intentions replaces the reality. And there is a strong narrative within our government to squeeze out or ignore those who don't adhere to this utopian orthodoxy. Actions of our own government (or at least large parts of it) make Jihadists' job easier.

Yes, those five hours jumped at me too. As I said, I’ve not seen any info on it. Yet. Hopefully he will make something good out of it, and sooner than later.

That he did. I have no high expectations from 0. But Bush did many things right. So it was more maddening to see his kissing up with Saudis (and so many other things). I understand that we could not just start a war with Saudis, but we never (openly) confronted their financing of the most violent strand of Islam. Even if something was said privately, Wahhabi schools are still funded from Pakistan to London to America.
