The earlier,(now locked,) thread, located here, according to some, was a bit long and too complicated to follow. This is the main thrust of Part II of The Free Republic Rino Free America Project.
Though the earlier thread is closed for replies, it can be read if you are curious. In the meantime, we start over. We start leaner and meaner, and we are Free Republic. We don't give up. We don't give in. And we do NOT back down.
Do we want action? Yes, we do!!!
Are we willing to take a giant step forward and create a central action site that allows us to see at a glance every single states candidates for national office, House and Senate, to separate the wheat from the chaff? That is our hope. We want to spend our money, our time, and our votes wisely. Our time is JUST as valuable as the money we spend.
The goal is to take back and take over the GOP, or move it out of the way, and elect conservatives to every office we can affect whether the RNC likes it or not.
To do this, we need a clearinghouse and a plan of action that encompasses all 50 states in ONE place. That place is Free Republic. THIS is where we nationalize the 2010 election cycle and choose where our money and our time is spent. The genius of Free Republic is that it already has the 50 state message boards. We dont have to google our way through hundreds of candidates in individual states to find out who is who doing what. Its already here, just not out in the public eye. This will change that.
I, and others, have repeatedly asked Freepers to present workable ideas with this goal in mind, and there have been many, but the two I am going to post here are comprehensive, have been well thought out over a long period of time, and the magic of it is that it has never been tried before...and THAT is precisely why it will work.
Freeper blueyon, (the originator of RINO FREE AMERICA PROJECT on FaceBook,) and I have worked on the idea to have each state message board create individual STATE BY STATE threads on the forum which presents information ONLY about their national congressional candidates.
We need their candidates names, pictures, platforms, voting records, (if applicable,) backgrounds, opinions, newslinks, statements, and whatever other information might be available including links to candidates websites if they exist.
The state message boards are full of much of this information and no one knows local politics like the locals. Its time to make local politics national, and here is where we do it. Fifty states, fifty threads, ALL politics will be Free Republic Local politics.
Freepers have the best researchers in the business. We need that right here, right now if we are going to burn down the RINO tent and do it effectively. They will NOT be allowed to silence us again.
Those threads will be information only. Conservative candidates will be flagged and RINOs will be tagged. Anyone who wishes to debate or discuss individual candidates can start a separate thread for that here, AND/OR on the RINO FREE discussion board on FaceBook as well.
I expect these threads to become lengthy, so be sure to add the state and candidate's name as keywords.
Once we have singled out the candidates we choose to support we will gather THOSE candidates on to ONE thread. It is our intent to coordinate all of these efforts with the National Tea Party Movement and have them link to our information as well as share whatever info they might have that we dont...although I find that next to impossible knowing Freepers. There just might be tidbits of inside information we might not have access to, so contributions from outside Freeperdom will be researched by us FOR us and we will do well not to post rumor or inuendo if we have no proof.
The Action Plan as presented on the earlier thread, is undergoing revision at this time and will be reposted ASAP.
Let's do it!
MUST Watch Video
Ward: "I know what it takes to keep our flag flying"
On Saturday, Idaho 1st Congressional candidate Vaughn Ward spoke to the Idaho Republican Central Committee in Boise. Ward delivered a strong message to over 200 members of the Republican faithful.
"The eye's of our Nation are on this race and it is viewed as our best opportunity to send Nancy Pelosi a clear message: We will not stand for out of control spending, more government intrusion, and higher taxes," Ward said. "This district is ground zero and where taking back our country begins."
Ward continued, "During these perilous times we need to elect people with the leadership, experience and vision to lead our country back to the days of personal responsibility. I have a lifetime of service to our state and Nation as a Marine Infantry Officer and as a CIA Operations Officer. As envisioned by our founding fathers, the defense of our nation is a vital responsibility of whoever is elected to represent us in Congress. I have fought in two wars and I know what it takes to keep our flag flying."
"Together we will make our Party stronger and see a resurgence of Republican values across our Nation. It is time for us to reclaim our Party and reseed the future with new leaders who are committed to our conservative values," concluded Ward.
I have no idea who is running in my area. Greg Ball was to run against socialist John Hall but he chickened out. We call our local paper the Commie Rag. No help there. But I’ll see what I can find.
I’m lawful evil.
Or was that “awful”?
“I have fought in two wars and I know what it takes to keep our flag flying.”
I’ll just bet he does too.
That was condescending, I didn’t mean it that way.
Praying someone gets all the RINOs out! Lets begin with Sen. Shelby, Alabama
Oh, boy! Do I ever resemble THAT remark!
Incumbent Democrat John Hall will face off against Republican Nan Hayworth for US House seat. I’ve never heard of her.
I was just joking, not condescending.
New FReepers need to ENABLE their states in their profiles or they won’t see the state message pings. How many don’t know?
If you click on “Account” at the top of the page, it will take you to some choices. One will be “My Locale”. The list of states is there. They can read their state daily without having to sign up.
“New FReepers need to ENABLE their states in their profiles or they wont see the state message pings. How many dont know?”
I raise my hand. I didn’t know until I read this thread and I even searched for state groups. Thanks for the heads up. I’m now in my state group.
We are writing this update to you via wireless Internet as the Tea Party Express crew caravans down to Las Vegas for our next "Defeat Harry Reid" event
It's been a huge day - we just completed our "Defeat Harry Reid" news conference in Reno where we had an overflow crowd. We'll have more reports and pictures from today's event out later this evening. All the local media outlets came to the news conference. Even CNN, Fox News and Congressional Quarterly are running national media stories on this effort.
At the same time we're also working on our new television ad endorsing Scott Brown for Senate in Massachusetts.
We will have the ads completed by Wednesday and then up on the airwaves.
Fantastic news, fellow conservatives.
A new poll out tonight shows Republican Scott Brown has narrowly pulled ahead of his liberal Democrat opponent, Martha Coakley, in the race for Senate in Massachusetts.
The race is now just a one-point contest, where Scott Brown leads Martha Coakley by a margin of 48%-47%.
Lurkers can do it too?
Only if they are logged on. You have to be a member of FR to get to the state boards.
Now thats what I call renew-able energy!!!
We need for some of the freepers on the state boards to start state threads on the forum as well. The sooner the better.
Then we can link them on an index page and get the research going. Every national candidate from every state. One stop shopping.
The state discussion pages are set up for every state on the sister site on FaceBook as well. Link is at Post #1.
We are running with this all over the web!
Too bad you feel the way you do about youTube. you can get so many hits there
The way I feel shouldn’t stop anyone else from doing whatever. I wish there were other high profile sites like that.
Pelosi, Hoyer, Rangel, joined by 17 colleagues: Democrats: Waxman, Miller, Markey, Gordon, Levin, Blumenauer, DeGette, Inslee, Ryan, Butterfield, Cleaver, Giffords, and Republicans: Barton, Upton, Moore Capito, Sullivan, Blackburn and Sensenbrenner
My challenge is those here who are in the districts of these pilferers, get a hearty grassroots CamPAIN to get them out!!!
People ping your lists for the states of these 20 please? I am upset James Sensenbrenner was part of this! Freepers unite, get rid of the FREELOADERS
Got to take a break for awhile. been a very long day. See ya later. Feet to the fire and all that...
Scott Brown at the Massachusetts Senate debate. "With all due respect, it's not the Kennedy's seat, it's not the Democrats' seat, it's the people's seat."
You deserve a rest!!! I want to thank all that I pinged with the S.O.S. and you responded. Please put that energy into getting the wrong ones out of office. TY!
Soldier, I want to thank you the most, for the herculean effort it took for you, despite what you are going through, to respond to the call
I ask everyone here for prayers for Soldier’s wife
Please relink post #18!!! This is great.........
No, she was apologizing to YOU.
Tell me what you know of the National Precinct Alliance.
Bump for later reading.
pheasant, this link should get you to the list of state pages with links to them...
The link in #18 has some extra text at the end (that happens some times).
That is why I always click on any links I’ve copied to the reply box to check them before posting the reply.
[When checking the link I use “open link in *new* window”, the reason being... if I just click on the link and then close the linked page while forgetting to click back to the reply page, then the reply will be lost.]
What is the opinion here of a Gen.Petraeus and Sarah Palin ticket in whatever order?
Part one video was previously posted, now both together reposted
BTW the murdered Iran physicist was not part of the nuclear program but a strong green/Moussavi supporter.
The motorcycle bomb smells of a Bassiji hit and a cost saver of motorcycle instead of a car.
Btw, do you know what this thread is about?
Yeah, even us Alabama Freepers can read :)
