Haiti's voodoo regime: Port-au-Prince ruling class treats people like sacrificial animals
The Washington Times ^ | January 15, 2010 | Editorial

Haiti ranked 12th on Foreign Policy magazine's 2009 Failed States Index and came in 10th on Transparency International's Corruption Perception Index. The country has been given more than $2 billion in development aid in the past two decades, but this fortune has largely been diverted to underwrite the lifestyles of the ruling class. The infrastructure that developed societies require to function - unglamorous things like water and sewage systems, electrical infrastructure, roads and bridges, and sanitation systems - need planning, maintenance and - above all - a government that cares about and is responsive to the basic needs of the people. But as Denis Paradis, parliamentary secretary for the Canadian foreign affairs minister, said after a visit to Haiti in 2001: "If the Canadians treated their animals the way the Haitian authorities treat their citizens, they would be put in prison."

Considering this headline is from a paper owned by Sun Yong Moon, I think it's deliciously ironic.

“...more than $2 billion in development aid in the past two decades, but this fortune has largely been diverted to underwrite the lifestyles of the ruling class.”

.
It’s the same story in the underdeveloped third world countries. The money ends up in the pockets that don’t need it and food aid often ends up on the black market where only the better-to-do can afford it

So let’s give Haiti Billions more and allow mass immigration as well .
Hold back troops from the GWoT in Afghanistan and divert them all to Haiti

All so Mr. Obama can claim that he is not like George W. Bush
after Katrina .
Never mind that this disaster occurred in another country .
It will do....

and! It’s 90% black

We don’t need a government that “cares”, better to have one afraid of the people.

"It's easy to blame poverty for the magnitude of the devastation in Haiti this week, but poverty is the result of poor governance."

And a picture of Moonies getting married has WHAT to do with the poverty stricken nation of Haiti?

The Washington Times is the best, most conservative newspaper in America. It doesn’t matter who owns it. If you have a beef with what is in the paper why not talk about that. Considering the amount of money a scumbag like Soros gives to the left I’d think people would be glad someone is willing to invest in a conservative news source. Anyway Stormer how much do you invest in the movement?

Buy a clue, Einstein. No one is treated more like a “sacrificial animal” than a Moonie. Am I going to have to get out the flash cards?

"Haiti's voodoo regime: Port-au-Prince ruling class treats people like sacrificial animals "

So I guess that means that obama wasn't born in Kenya, he's from Haiti. He thinks we are his "sacrificial animals".

Sorry slick, but I’m smarter than Einstein; I have the sense not to be affiliated with the Communist Party.

Again, your hatred of the Washington Times has WHAT to do with the pain and misery of Haitians BEFORE and AFTER the earthquake?

Yes, but would that be a French speaking or English speaking prison? /s

Yes, you are right. How dare anyone condem the beauty and love of voodoo. Since you know so much about it’s beauty and how it uplifts Haiti, share, please.

Voodoo? When did I say anything about voodoo? I just point out the hypocrisy when the pot calls the kettle black. Please try to pay closer attention.
