With a new poll suggesting a tight race for the US Senate in Massachusetts, Democrat Martha Coakley is hoping for a boost today from former President Bill Clinton, who is headlining a rally in downtown Boston.

Clinton will be joined by Massachusetts Senator John F. Kerry, the 2004 Democratic presidential nominee, in the rally in the Grand Ballroom at the Fairmont Copley Plaza Hotel at 2 p.m.

Coakley, the state’s attorney general, is facing a tough challenge from State Senator Scott Brown, who was little known until this race but who appears to be surging in some polls.

Well, this should really help out.

The envoy to Haiti campaigning for this hack, while bodies are decomposing on the streets of Port au Prince.

Yep...good thinking.

The Globe is going to have as much success rah-rahing for Chokely as the WAPO did touting VA Governor-elect Bob McDonnell’s opponent, Deeds.

I think the strategy is to get it close enough to recount the votes until they win.

Ummmm..., it doesn't look good for Coakley. When Clinton was asked if he thought he could help out Coakley to win... well... just take a look at the reaction from Clinton... :-)

Stand-out for Scott Brown at the Event with President Bill Clinton and Congressman Jim McGovern in support of Martha Coakley for U.S. Senate.
Details for the Stand-up (4:15 this Friday!)

The Coakley Campaign has rented Alden Hall at WPI (Worcester Polytechnic Institute) for Friday. Bill Clinton will be in attendance, which means there will be plenty of media there. Let’s show them how much support Scott has!

Clinton and Coakley are set to arrive at 4:30. Let’s meet at 4:15 at the Beech tree (details about tree’s location are in the next paragraph).

Here is a link for a map of the WPI campus http://www.wpi.edu/about/visitors/campusmap.html
Brown supporters will be allowed to congregate by the giant Beech Tree located in front of Alden. We’re hoping to get a few hundred Brown supporters for this event.

If you are going to go hold signs for Scott Brown, keep in mind that you need to be pleasant, polite and come in numbers. Please make sure you leave no trash and keep any people who might become boisterous under control, otherwise it will defeat the whole purpose.

Please be respectful of the location

I heard bammy turned them down because he was not competent to deliver coffee. Something about it being above his pay grade. I do understand that his Grandfather was competent to deliver coffee, but he didn’t like doing it because he hated white folks as much as his grandson does. Just keeping it real. Groove on Jaxter.

I'm quite sure this particular instruction was phrased just the way it was in honor of Billy Jeff.
