As usual Rush nails it. Never doubt Rush. The more they squeal the more right he is.
Everything is a press and photo opportunity for this lametard, jack squat administration. Utterly pathetic.
Do you think he will go to Haiti and tell the victims that they make a “pretty good photo op”?
Obama has no place in US politics. I predict his political demise as America sees beyond his wholly created romantic personna, specifically designed to hide his radical neo-fascist socialism.
Charisma, does not an American president make. In this case it destroys him, and none too soon.
He’s trying to make his bones to legitimize himself as commander in chief after the disappearing act he pulled with the Christmas day bomber fiasco.
This rube is so predictably transparent.
I’m sure the Press will want to have him take his appointed place among America’s GREATEST Commanders of all time after he “Conquers Haiti”.
Rush oughta post a timeline for his response to the Christmas terrorist attack.
Anyone wondering if Obama is more concerned about the safety of foreigners than he his about the safety of Americans? It sure shows.
It’s pretty obvious where Obozo’s allegiances are directed, and it’s NOT the workaday American people.
I don’t think He’s gonna be happy until our country resembles Zimbabwe. And we’re headed there fast.
Good thing the earthquake waited until AFTER The One’s vacation in Hawaii, eh?
In two weeks the Haiti story will be buried and mostly forgotten in America. There is no long-term political gain here for the dems (unlike hurricane Katrina), because 80% of Americans couldn't point out Haiti on a map. Actually, I believe all too soon Americans will wonder aloud why we're pouring more money down this rat hole.
I do think this (tracking Obama's every thought during the "dark skinned with serious negro/Caribbean dialect" crisis was unfolding) would make an interesting documentary for Michael Moore and/or Rob Reiner, but doubt either will be visiting this tropical paradise anytime soon.
“Who dares interrupt Emperor Zero’s meal?”
“I am sorry, master. Something important has happened”
“Spit it out before I cut your tongue myself”
“Yes sire. The nation of Haiti has been hit by a devastating earthquake”
“Who could tell?”
“No, its very much worse than that. It is a major crisis”
“Did you hear that Emmanuel? We should not waste this opportunity! But first, More Wagyu!!”
“Slave Gibbs, find and release bad things about the previous Emperor. Tell the squibs that I shall save Haiti!”
“Y..Yes, my master, Lord zero”
“Excellent. Where is my wagyu??!!”

Apparently there are many reports of the US Embassy being of no use and even condescending to US citizens in Haiti. Although the source of this may be questionable, the replies to the post do add a little validity.
It is shameful to think that we have a corrupt and useless embassy in ANY country— even Haiti.
I find it offensive if the Obama administration equates a disaster in another country with one that damaged America.
typical hyper-educated elite response to a crisis...convene a meeting...listen to own voice...better yet publish “minutes” ..and then winder why the world has’nt responded to your will!!!
Barack Obama has no shame. Neither does he have any scruples, morals or a sense of decency.
What he does have is a bloated, pathological ego and a deep seated belief that America is the wealthy nation that it is because it exploited third world nations.
This man hates America. While he is in the Oval Office he will do everything in his power to damage America. Personally, I can not stand the sight of him, which means that I get to see a lot of old movies on TV.
(crickets chirping...)
ROFL
If you think someone that has been unemployed for over a year, and is about to lose their home, gives a damn about how fast Obama responds to Haiti, I got ocean front property in Oklahoma to sell you.
I’ve been thinking this for a while so I will type it softly on this thread.
Like the expert El Rushbo...I predict:
-this earthquake is going to be a doorway to corruption like none other. It’s ripe for media manipulation, Haiti’s always been a mess, a “money launder” venue for some congressional caucii...and now we have this major natural catasrophe just ripe for the plucking, as Rahm would have it. Last night I watch 20/20 and already there’s an hour long boo-hoo on the plight of the Haitians. Who, let me caution, do need help and help we will send them. Happily, with smiles on our faces.
But the Dems will overplay their hand like they always do. Next we’ll have the Haitians eating each other or gnawing off their own arms.
Relief is not arriving right this second in that damned place, which should be raking in tourist dollars and living the life of hosts that their climate would allow if not for the corruption and mistreatment of the people by their own gubmint. The roads are all blocked and Americans, despite our amazing technology, do not have wings and we can’t fly over the rubble carrying food, water, medicines, much less guns as our military is going to have to take over that island, count on it.
Meanwhile, the people are going to have to do what has to be done. They should be trying to clear roads, gathering the dead, gathering food and water from abandoned buildings. Some are still standing. With a concerted effort they can survive cause soon enough America will be there. Find the abandoned stores, homes....I’m thinking they can get the act together with some gumption and leadership, a determined will to survive.
For the media to show those people whining instead of industriously doing what they have to do is doing them no favor at all. America would be there yesterday if possible and no blessing from Obama on high will make that happen any sooner than is possible. Even here in America we are subject to the laws of physics and logistics.
Rahm’s got his crisis and it will be milked for all it’s worth.
Only this time I think it will come back to bite those who have more in mind than rescuing and aiding earthquak victims.

Retired general: U.S. aid effort too slow.
By Ken Dilanian, USA TODAY
WASHINGTON The U.S. relief effort for Haiti started too slowly and cautiously, says a retired general who led the military relief effort on the Gulf Coast after Hurricanes Katrina and Rita.
“The next morning after the earthquake, as a military man of 37 years service, I assumed there would be airplanes delivering aid, not troops, but aid,” said retired Lt. Gen. Russel Honore, who coordinated military operations after disaster struck the U.S. Gulf Coast in 2005. “What we saw instead was discussion about, ‘Well we’ve got to send an assessment team in to see what the needs are.’ And anytime I hear that, my head turns red.”
The problem, Honore told USA TODAY, is that the State Department and the U.S. Agency for International Development, instead of the military, take the lead in international disaster response.
I'm surprised they don't have a comparative time line designed to contrast Obama's speed in responding to Haiti with Bush's delays in dealing with Katrina.
Soon he will be announcing that school bus Nagin is his Haitian Relief Czar with Blanco as Czarina.
