A group led by anti-war activist Cindy Sheehan has protested near the CIA's headquarters and former Vice President Dick Cheney's home in northern Virginia.

They were protesting the use of unmanned drone aircraft to attack al-Qaida and Taliban targets.

The group of about 70 people rallied alongside a highway near the CIA compound Saturday. About half then marched to Cheney's nearby street and stayed for 20 minutes. Police kept them from going down his street.

Sheehan's 21-year-old son Casey was killed in Iraq in April 2004. She staged a prolonged demonstration outside former President George W. Bush's ranch near Crawford, Texas, in 2005.

She says using drones is "cowardly" and "immoral

This ought to do it. I bet we will learn that Cheney will resign his VP post.

If he doesn't, maybe Cindy will call for his impeachment.

Why are these morons targeting Cheney?

If they don’t like the drone strikes in Pakistan perhaps they should protest the White House where the man who makes that decision works.

But, Code Pink is too political correct to criticize Obama so the most logical thing is a man who is no longer in power.

“As per a study collating all strike data in 2009, the casualties up to July 18, 2009 surpassed the hits over all of 2008. Total fatalities in 2009: 574, Total fatalities in 2008: 165”

It is VERY hard for me to accept that the US would be sending in unmanned drones to kill people within the borders of a sovereign nation without that nation's permission. That's all. Pakistan may not be Utopia or our best friend, but they are still a sovereign nation.

Good point. Speaking of, what’s Code Pink been up to? We are still at war I thought. Are they suddenly OK with war or is the lamestream media not covering their protests?

Ironic that the location where they were protesting was where a Pakistani terrorist killed two CIA employees and wounded three others as they were waiting to enter the headquarters compound back in 1993.
