Supreme Court to rule on famed death penalty case (Fry Mumia!)

The U.S. Supreme Court is expected on Tuesday to issue its latest decision on the fate of Mumia Abu-Jamal, arguably America's most famous death-row inmate, convicted of slaying a Philadelphia policeman, a crime he denies committing.

The court is due to rule on an appeal by the Philadelphia district attorney who is seeking to have Abu-Jamal executed and bring an end to a decades-long legal saga the inmate, a former journalist, wrote about while in prison.

Abu-Jamal, now 55, was convicted in 1982 of killing officer Daniel Faulkner on December 9, 1981. He has become an international cause celebre for the anti-death penalty movement whose supporters argue strenuously he did not receive a fair trial.

This man was convicted and sentenced before I was even born. Any kind of reasonable legal system would have either executed him or released him for being innocent by now. This is ridiculous. How can an appeals process be stretched for more than an entire flipping generation?

Bet those decades unwashed dreads, all oily and flea infested will stink to hell when Mumi gets the big direct current.

If you can get the backing of Hollywood elitists and Big Media, you can do anything. Witness the 2008 presidential election.

ALCU says it all. This POS should have been dead at least 15 years ago. He’s as guilty as it gets.

Technically, Pennsylvania has the death penalty, but it doesn't use it often enough...or even within a reasonable time after conviction. Murderers often live out their entire lives in prison (30 plus years or more).

This guy should have been toasted a long time ago.

The murderer was invited to give the commencement address to Oberlin College a few years ago. He did so via video IIRC.

He’s a hero to Ayers and assorted other FOObamao.

... Mumia Abu-Jamal, arguably America's most famous death-row inmate, convicted of slaying a Philadelphia policeman, a crime he denies committing.

This article is incorrect. Abu-Jamal stated very clearly that he "shot the mother f**ker."

Is Mumia Abu-Jamal of Haitian descent? He is certainly an advocate of Haiti...blaming everything that is wrong with the place on the USA.

Another hero for Eric Holder and the Black Liberation Theology crowd I’m sure. He is certainly a poster child for the Black Panthers.

Why we haven’t snuffed this piece of dirt decades ago is a complete mystery to me. The term “waste of oxygen” was coined to describe this subhuman sack of excrement.

The new DA in Philadelphia was just sworn into office. DA Lynn Abraham was there for years and retired. He is our first black DA. I hope he continues the Mumia fight.

Because it is infested with liberal trial judges and lawyers and law makers making those laws...I call it the INJUSTICE system. It favors the criminal, not the victims. We victims have had to fight for 'our rights' to even be heard in the court room, sometimes to even be present.

Even if they are caught red handed and on video tape they are still innocent in their eyes.

Stupid, ugly, and mean. The perfect hero for the Left. But maybe if the court rules against him, Pennsylvania will finally stick this pig and be done with it.

Correct!

Anyways,I’d really like to see it live televised, with screen shots of voltmeter displays at various body parts.

screen shots of voltmeter displays at various body parts

Pay per view, with EKG, ECG and thermo scans. Do not forget the expert witness to explain the pain level at each instant. Call vote in with a thumbs up or down, for a slight fee...
