Video of Kirk Cameron Giving Away Free Copies Of "Origin of Species"
Gate of the City ^ | 1/17/10 | Chuck Ness

Posted on 01/17/2010 10:48:06 AM PST by OneVike

Kirk Cameron and Ray Comfort have found a loophole and dicided to exploit it for Christ. It would seems that Charles Darwin's book, "Origin of Species", is considered public domain by the law. So what Kirk and Comfort have done was open a hornets nest by distributing hundreds of thousands of free copies of Darwin's book with Christian material and messages as a forward. Then they distributed them for free at universities across America and Europe. The 50 page introduction picks apart aspects of Charles Darwin’s work and links it to everything from Nazi eugenics to the scientist’s alleged ‘disdain for women.”

Now you can watch the video below that was of put out by their "Way of The Master" organization that headed up the bold plan of taking on Darwin and his book. Cameron had said before the plan was carried out on November 18, 2009 that,

“Atheism has been on the rise for years now, and the Bible of the atheists is The Origin of Species. We have a situation in our country where young people are entering college with a belief in God and exiting with that faith being stripped and shredded. What we want to do is have student make an informed, educated decision before they chuck their faith.”

Kirk Cameron says, “I am proud to bring this to people’s attention. You see things in the world that are truly distressing and you think, ‘What can I do?’ Well this is something I can do.”

Evolution vs Creation Ping!

Check out this video of Kirk Cameron giving away free "Origin of Species" books, ahh, but with a 50 page introduction added that dispels the lies within. Fighting the battle with the tools God gives us.

Ok, now I am out of here and will be gone until after 3:00 PM when I am finished with my messages at Windchime.

Is this the one where Cameron lies about Hitler being an evolutionist among other things?

Good for them.

Since evolutionists claim to know the truth,
they should have no problems competing with
theism in the marketplace of ideas.

Let the better idea win!

“Hell’s Best Kept Secret” by Ray Comfort is one of the best sermons I’ve heard re: evangelism, and why the modern “Jesus will make your life better” message often fails.

That’s the point. They don’t want to take that chance. In the evo’s mind, their idea must win. With them, the end justifies... Ed Schultz “We need to cheat so Coakley wins. I’d vote ten times”.

Correct me if I am wrong...Darwin's basic idea was Survival of the Fittest. That is, if by random variation, someone comes along that is better suited to survival, they will live to breed, and that trait will be reinforced in the species. That is, if women fancy taller men because they remind them of husbands who might be better qualified by nature to protect them, they will be the ones to get married and have children, producing, generally taller offspring. This much, I can believe. Did Darwin himself promote the "man from ape" idea?

My chief complaint against those who use Evolution as a religion, is that they refuse to acknowledge Evolution as a theory, instead taking it as given Law. The popular notion of the theory of evolution may explain one set of facts and how they relate. If other facts threaten the Theory, by scientific method, it is the Theory that should change, not the facts ignored.

I myself am a Big Long Creation kind of guy...I begin at God Said Let There Be Big Bang, and figure God may have arrived at man however He chose over a million years if He wanted. But I vigorously spit at those who try to apply Surival of the Fittest into a framework that tries to refure God's hand in our crafting. It's like saying that Order could of itself flow out of Chaos, or like someone finding an equisite Swiss cuckoo clock sitting on a stone in the jungle and assuming that the clock must just have created itself.

I have a better idea. Get a copy of Origin of Species and use it as a doorstop at home, work or whereever. It will be a great conversation starter. And point out, Darwin was stumped about the eye. “Physically sickened” were his words. Cameron is really stirring up the dust on a book so old, Abe Lincoln was a senator and doctors didn’t know to wash their hands between surgery. Today we wash after shaking hands.

Evolutionary theory has changed drastically over the years.

or like someone finding an equisite Swiss cuckoo clock sitting on a stone in the jungle and assuming that the clock must just have created itself.

The problem here is that you are taking something that you recognize, that you know for a fact must be made, and extrapolating that way too far into things that many only believe must be made.

If new species are constantly being evolved, enlighten us by naming one from, oh, I’ll give you, the last thousand years.

I have idea what Cameron says about that, but neither Comfort nor Cameron come across to me as two sincere but seriously under educated men who often get things wrong. The atheism vs. theism debate they were in a couple of years ago was seriously embarrassing for Christians in this country.

Funny. The cover doesn't say it's abridged. They just left several chapters out to keep the printing costs down. Such blatant deception would be shameful to most, but fortunately for Banana Man and Dumboy it's typical and generally accepted creationist behavior.

- The 50 page introduction

To pick apart aspects of Charles Darwin’s work sounds like overkill.
