Somebody needs to be in charge and it looks like Haiti is utterly incapable of running things for the moment. If not us than who? Does Brazil want to run the show? How about France? Just who do these countries want to run the show. I’m so sick and tired about piss-ant countries criticizing the US.

If we were smart, we'd pull out now.

The UN prides itself on its performance during disasters. Fine. Let the UN run things.

Why should the US wetnurse the rest of the world?

That is the essence of the problem. If someone doesn't get a handle on the logistics, there will be no Haitian population left to save. Without fresh drinking water and food, millions will die.
