The Start of Another Republican Dynasty

Pete Domenici Jr. may not have any political experience-- he's spent the last two decades working as a lawyer in Albuquerque-- but he says thanks to his father's many years in politics, he's had a front-row seat to witnessing how the state should be run.

Refer to the story at the link.

Another Republican Dynasty

However good "Pete" might be... no thank you. The oly "dynasty" I would support is one in which every member qualifies solely on his own merits.

“...he says thanks to his father’s many years in politics, he’s had a front-row seat to witnessing how the state should be run.”

Uh, no.

Anyone who has watched the boss’s son take over after the boss is gone will know that this isn’t true.

And, if the Kennedy family is any indication, there seems to be a dilution of the talent in the gene pool as the tree fans out. Young Pete might just as well take after his mother after all.

This will be as successful as the “Ted Kennedy Seat” appeals in MA ifthis is the best that Domenici has.

I wouldn’t mind him taking one of the Senate seats back. I hate both of the idiots.

Agreed. I don’t care how good he is, I’m tired of the children of politicians thinking it’s the family business. I don’t give a damn if he is a Republican.

Or the Lujan seat in the congress. Disraceful representation. Both senate seats are a joke also. Denco

I don’t want any dynasties, whether Republican or dimwit. It only leads to tyrants.

Agreed... And the only one to hold such high merits [and thus qualifying for a ‘dynasty’] is Jesus.

Though, to be honest, I don’t give a bag-of-rat-turds about the Republican party [or the Democratic] as I want Statesmen and Patriots in office and not the “yes-man party-man”.
