Sen. Ben Nelson's popularity in Nebraska has plummeted in the course of the health care debate, with a new survey putting the Democratic senator's approval rating at 42 percent.

Libs are afraid this will translate into a vote AGAINST Healthcare when it comes back up.
When Brown wins look for Nelson, Lincoln, Webb and Bayh (maybe other Dems as well) to rethink their current support for Obamacare.
If Brown wins in Mass. (or even comes close), Pelosi and Reid are going to have a very hard time keeping Dems in line when it comes time to vote on ObamaCare, Cap & Trade etc. The Obama rally in Mass. had empty seats, in a medium sized facility no less. The rank and file Dems are going to be in panic mode shortly, if they aren’t already.
Nelson is having a Hoedown.
The Democrats are looking more and more like the Governor and his staff from Blazing Saddles.

It is disheartening that 42% still approve.
Nelson sold out America to bring home the pork to Nebraska and keep his base happy. It doesn’t look like that is working out for him. Nebraskans are Americans too!
I know they're completely shamelwaa, but if they voted for it the first time, then vote against it, they would look like transparent, pathetic losers.
Don't get me wrong. I want them to vote against their first vote, and I won't even think of them any differently for it, because I thought they were pathetic losers to begin with.
The Obama/Reid/Pelosi “healthcare” bill has guaranteed that at least the first two members of thast unholy triumvarite will never be re-elected, along with most of their fellow democrats.

More likely he is a product of long-standing Senate Cloakroom culture which states that you can do shady back-room deals and slimy payoffs, and most of the voting public will be none the wiser. With the internet, talk radio Fox News, et. al. they simply cannot get away with that any more. But since most of ‘em are old fossils, it appears they are a bit slow on the uptake.
Soon enough he was find out that he works for the people of Nebraska and not Harry Reid and Obama.
All around Nebraska the words I love most, is that come election time Ben Nelson is TOAST !
