Tulsa police arrested about half a dozen people today following fights that broke out after the Martin Luther King Jr. parade.

Cpl. Scott Anderson said the fights started about 1:30 p.m. after the parade had ended. Anderson said about 20 small fights broke out along Pine Street near Greenwood Avenue.

``We had just large groups of people and some instigators started some fights. It just took awhile to disperse the groups," Anderson said.

Mounted patrol from the Tulsa County Sheriff's Office also responded to help police.

Anderson said police arrested about half a dozen people. He said despite rumors of weapons, there were no shots fired nor weapons seen by police.

In Houston, for the last 5 years or more, the Black Community can not come together even for Martin Luther King Day!

Two groups have fought tooth and nail for the privilege of putting on a parade in honor of Dr. King's message.

Solution: ...Two Parades, Two Times, Two Routes

Post-Partisanship!!!!

Obama and the Dems have set race relations back 20 years or more in this country.

Are you suggesting separate but equal accommodations for two groups of blacks?

This is a fitting tribute to MLK as it seemed that anyplace he went in the sixties, a few days later there was a massive riot that destroyed large swaths of the inner city.

Ditto Baltimore today where a parade takes place on MLK Jr Blvd. There were fights and shootings and a police chase!

Where’s that gal with the red dress on,
Some folks call her Dinah
Stole my heart away from me
Way down in Louisiana

Chorus:
Take me back to Tulsa,
I’m too young to marry
Take me back to Tulsa,
I’m too young to marry.

-— Instrumental -—

Little bee sucks the blossom
The big bee gets the honey
Darkey raise the cotton
The white man gets the money.

You wanna go back to Tulsa,
Boy I sure would!
let me off on Archer,
I’ll walk down to Greenwood!

Do you like our little song,
Really we don’t care.
We’re gonna do it anyway,
because we go right by there.

By BOB WILLS and THE TEXAS PLAYBOYS!

North Tulsa, around Archer and Greenwood was burnt to the ground in the 1921 Tulsa Race Riot, by whites.

Virtually every major city in the country had a major riot in the sixties. Almost every one followed a visit by MLK. Whether it be Watts, Harlem, Detroit, Hough, or dozens of other cities. The locals looked on helpless as people burned down their own neighborhoods.

MLK preached civil disobedience. It may have been disobedience but it certainly wasn't civil, and the leftist welfare programs that where and have been espoused by the race hustlers have been disastrous to their own people and the cities in which they live.

Are you sure these riots weren't after the killing of MLK?
