They're kicking up their heels at the Barbara Bush Literacy Foundation for Family Literacy offices with announcement that former vice presidential candidate, Fox News commentator and author Sarah Palin will be among the published writers of note to make presentations at the Celebration of Reading.
Politics notwithstanding, those who've seen Palin in person report that she is a charismatic figure not to be missed. And if you loved Palin going rogue on the campaign trail, we bet you'll love her even more as she comments on her life and reads from her book, Going Rogue. Mark your calendars for the April 22 benefit at the Hobby Center for the Performing Arts

Yes, indeed!
WOW this is AWESOME news
I can hear the MSNBC staff comedy writers brains frying right now.
This woman is just amazing. Anyone who’ve read her book knows what I’m talking about. She was put here for a purpose....
Glad she is ‘teamed’ with Barbara Bush for reading. . .as for her Sarah’s ‘friends’; can hear the snickers already. But they ‘go there’ at their own risk; I hope.
Mark your calendars for Feb 14th & Fox.
Daytona 500.
Sarah is a VIP guest of the event. She is the guest speaker the day before at the Daytona Chamber of Commerce festivities.
That’s terrific!
The cries of Sarah Quitter...sure went away, didn’t they?
They probably still don't see it.
PING to #9!
Oh, there are a few still on this forum, mostly with other agendas (i.e. Romneyites and the Ron Paul crew). I was just arguing with some of them last week about the facts surrounding her resignation, and interestingly, NONE of them had bothered to educate themselves about Obama's hit crew up in Alaska trying to destroy her administration and family or even read her book.
One fellow (who shall remain nameless) even had the gall to tell me that he did not have to read her book to know anything about her since he knew that ALL politicians were spineless weasels.
I bought the book for my parents. They are democrats. My dad e-mailed me yesterday and said, “Your girl is going to go far.” He’s not even done with it but he knows what she’s all about.
Sarah is more forgiving than I am. Didn’t I just read where Barbara Bush took a shot at her and told her to stay in Alaska?
I would tell Mrs. Bush to shove her reading where the sun don’t shine.
