Dem GOTV picking up Brown supporters
Politico ^ | 01/19/10 | Glenn Thrush

A Democratic operative familiar with Martha Coakley and the DSCC's massive get-out-the-vote operation says that outreach workers in and around Boston have been stunned by the number of Democrats and Obama supporters who are waving them off, saying they'll vote for Scott Brown.

It takes a RAT to be stunned when people rebel against fascism.

“Can you spell “blowout”!?!”

Please G-d, please let there be a blowout. I am from Mass and just voted for Brown. But I worry about fraud here.

With all these favorable polls and all the anecdotal stuff pointing to a Brown win I worry that we're being set up for disappointment. I don't think that we're being set up. It's just a feeling but I 'll feel alot better when I hear his victory announced!

Fraud is a worry..With all those dead people still registered. Why is it that people are not removed from that document as soon as they die?

Spoke to a Coakley worker at the polls and she said that they had bad phone lists - she said she kept getting Brown supporters when she called.

They were pulling them back from polls to work phones

Must be hoping for late surge.....keep up pressure til polls close.

I have no doubt that this will be the most corrupt election since Chicago in 1960.

From Twitter: KenFro: RT @RayLevesque: Early polling results show that even dead Democrats are crossing party lines to vote for Scott Brown. LOL

Last minute the DemonRats will work their miracle of raising 250,000 from the dead just in time to get their votes in.

Personally, I’d take the free ride and the extra absentee ballots being handed out then fill them all in for Brown right before I put them in the box. But that’s just me.

Why wave them off? A ride is a ride. Or would they throw them out of the bus if they found out they were voting for Brown?

He was re-elected in 2006, no one knows why.

Interesting: according to this page, Teddy the K won his first Senate election by 69.33 to 30.67 %.

He won his last one by 69.30 to 30.55 %.

So it's not like Mass. has been shifting to the right.

Something big has changed since 2006, wonder what it is.

Here's looking at YOU, Barry-O.

Why don’t they just take the ride then vote for Brown? The Dim-wits would do it.

There have been elections more corrupt than 1960 both in Chicago and elsewhere.

Example, many more non-citizens (legal and illegal Eastern European immigrants) were registered and voted in Chicago in 68, ‘70... than in ‘60 all in the local effort to stop the anti-corruption movement led by Republican Ogilvie.

Example, many more voters vote at multiple addresses than in the past. One of my suburban voters told me how he had to go into the city and vote in his mother-in-law’s precinct, his sister-in-law’s precinct, etc in order for his mother-in-law to keep her patronage job with Stroger. If his mother-in-law who had no employment skills were fired for a low vote in her precinct, then my suburban neighbor would be blamed for it and furthermore, have to support her.
