Best of luck to Scott, he will hold the same seat as the Kennedy’s, the Lodges, Daniel Webster, and the great John Quincy Adams. Hope he does us proud and doesn’t lose his convictions.

Be realistic, Ghost. Brown will be a Massachusetts Republican, likely farther to the left than if he were from another state.
That’s OK. He needs to represent the people who voted him into office, and they aren’t far right. That is his job now. If he stays middle-of-the-road, he will be a huge improvement over his predecessor.
The message his election sends to Washington and the rest of the nation tonight is likely more important than any vote he will cast.
Let’s all be thankful for this important, if small, step in taking our country back.

Coakley’s concession speech is one of the best and classiest I have heard. If she had done this DURING the campaign, she might have won.
