ABC News: President Obama warned Democrats in Congress today not to "jam" a health care reform bill through now that they've lost their commanding majority in the Senate, and said they must wait for newly elected Massachusetts Republican Scott Brown to be sworn into office.

Hmmm. From the President on down, an awful lot of the Dems appear to have the heebie-jeebies.

Yep, they are getting all wee-weed up. Enough, surprisingly, to slow down their thrust of beating swords into hammers and sickles ...

Obama is scum. The only reason he is saying this is because the Senate already told him last night they refuse to go along with any nefarious plans. Specifically, Senator Webb (D-WV) already went public with this notion last night, namely no more Senate votes on ObamaCare until Brown is seated. This was a clear shot across the bow of the Obamunists from the rank and file Senators that they better back off trying to railroad the Senate. The House is in the process of sending similar signals.

Obama is merely trying to parrot what he thinks people want to hear based on a fait accompli outside of his control.

The real leader here is Webb. Obama is merely the follower.

We can expect a lot more of this pseudo-populist nonsense from Obama in the coming weeks as he switches gear and trys to pretend like he’s one of us, has our best interests at heart, and oh, definitively not an ideologue.

In fact, I can’t wait until that Nixonian moment when Obama is so hounded to his knees that he must declare: “I am not an idologue.” And just like Nixon, no one will beleive it.

Right. The ObamaCare bill is going nowhere...at the moment, and saying this costs them nothing, but may score points with a “magnanimous” sound bite.

They are scared. Obama is a wussy, a spineless jellyfish. He knows Brown’s election smacks his idea of Communism around. We the People have also been extremely vocal. He’s backing down to make it seem that defeat of the bill is his idea when it was his idea for the bill in the first place. Coward.

I still CANNOT BELIEVE Brown won!
I’m THRILLED!

I still cannot believe it though. I didn’t think he would beat the DEM VOTE FRAUD MACHINE.
If we KNEW which ballots were dead voters, repeat voters, etc., I wonder how much larger his percentage would have been.

All of a sudden, 0bozo the commie pig usurper, goes conciliatory on us. Gee, what happened to the "I won" arrogant SOB from a year ago? What happened to the "Gotta pass this health care monstrosity NOW -- by Aug 2009 break, ooops no, gotta pass it by Oct.... ooops, no, gotta pass it by Nov Thanksgiving.... oooops, no, gotta pass it by Christmas....oooops no, gotta pass it before 0bozo's Dissaster of the Union campaign speech.....oooops, no, gotta pass it before Scott Brown is sworn in as senator.....oooops, no problem, we can wait till Brown is sworn in".

Huh?

This RAT bastard 0bozo has come up with multiple deadlines, the sky is falling crisis scenarios, etc., and all of a sudden he goes conciliatory after a year of strident marxist-socialism. Could it be that finally yesterday was even a wake up call for this retarded socialist-fascist-commie pig usurper????

In any case, we STILL gotta vote this 0bozo commie out or impeach him as soon as possible. He stills wants to destroy Amerika with his socialist-fascist-commie agenda.

(some satire)

Obama had a meeting with Bill Clinton. Asked his advice on what to do now that Brown won.

Bill said, “if you are surrounded by Injuns, then run to the center of the circled wagons and hide. It worked for me.”

No GOP senator is going to leave the reservation, particularly following Scott Brown’s election.

McConnell has done an outstanding job keeping the caucus together.

Does anyone seriously believe that Snowe or Collins would undermine a brand-new GOP senator elected from New England - their region? Get real.

Or, they have a way paved out to jam it through as soon as Brown is seated.

Obama’s not the engineer on the train, he’s just the lead conductor.

It doesn't really matter what Obama "says". Rahm Emanuel dictates what happens and when. Like Harold Ickes in the Clinton White House, Emanuel is the man behind the curtain.

When Rahm Emanuel sleeps, Obama falls to the floor.

Rahm Emanuel dictates what happens and when.

I would agree insofar as for those physically in the White House, but I'll bet Rahm gets his marching orders from Soros. He's just the conduit to 0bama.

re: now that they’ve lost their commanding majority

I would hardly call a majority that could be erased with the loss of a single vote a “commanding” majority. If it takes 60 votes to pass something and you do it with 60 votes you’ve hardly exercised a commanding majority!
