Maybe she made a deal with him and said she would endorse him if she would fight with her for conservative Americans.

Hanging out with Juan and JUANnabies is not helping Palin if she wants to eventually run for POTUS.

I have mixed emotions on this. I hate that she would campaign for this idiot but then again, she did agree to run with him on a RINO ticket and she wasn't considered a RINO when it was over. Is it good that she's not making enemies now? I believe if she makes enemies with him and it's for the good of the country that's the way it should be. It's a tough one!

Palin could (should!) sit out the AZ primary.

Uh, I’m a supporter of hers and I’m not making excuses. I’m not happy with the decision. If I had been her, I would have stayed out of this race altogether. I can’t stand McCain, I want him gone in 2010..but if Hayworth does not run, isn’t McCain a shoe in no matter what

Noblesse oblige. She owes McCain; this doesn't make her a RINO.

I wish Hayworth would come out and say he’s running already. Makes me think he is not running and if that is the case, McCain has the election in the bag anyway.

If I had to guess, McLame had the lo-class nerve to ask her, and she had TOO MUCH class to say no.

That's a gracious guess and probably correct. But!

This is exactly the problem at our high levels of government - more about personal go-along-get-along than about the principles (issues) which should be engaged objectively. Picture, at those high dealing levels, it is very difficult to break free of the personal ties, in the Senatorial or DC chambers. Very similar to a mother granting her drug infested children umbrage rather than hard discipline, and possible alienation, which would correct the situation. A tragic personal mistake, especially true beyond this parent-child example when the stakes bear on a whole nation of tax-paying law abiding constituents.

John McCain is not a principled individual, at least not for the conservative principles of valuing personal responsibility, self honesty, and the human dignity of the individual spirit.

A serious serious disappointment Sarah. You could have refused it with personal sensitivity, but John McCain is NOT our answer. And like Colin Powell with Barack Obama, at some point you are in a position where you must stand up for us rather than your associates.

Four points...

1. I don’t think Sarah has decided if she wants to run or not.

2. I think she is far more concerned with doing what she thinks is right than doing what will be politically advantageous if she does.

3. Far more Republicans voted for McCain in the primaries than anybody else. They will be voting next time too. Supporting McCain won’t hurt her.

4. McCain-Palin won in AZ in 2008. JD lost.

It's just possible that the voters of Arizona are sharp enough to realize that she is acting out of loyalty to a man to whom she owes a lot. She wouldn't even be in this position were it not for him.

I can't believe there's that many people who don't like McCain but would vote for him simply because Sarah Palin is campaigning with him.

I think I'll take the coward's way out and withhold judgment on this until it actually happens. Plenty of time to throw her overboard if, and when, she manages to trick Arizona into choosing John McCain in the primary.

I HAVE her book, haven`t had the time to read it but if she has that little regard for the principles of the people who support her then maybe we were wrong in supporting her, this is a game changer!Never again will I vote for the lesser of two evils, and I don`t support those that do.

Again. In the book, she writes about the deep respect she has for him. She places a high value on loyalty and honor. It was inevitable for her to support McCain. If this upsets you, will you ever be happy or satisfied. I’m not saying taking disappointment after disappointment. But if something doesn’t go your way, do you give up?

Then her loyalty to McLame is greater than her loyalty to the conservative principles she espouses.Sorry,no sale.If she wants my loyalty then, “Its the principles, stupid.” and if she doesn`t get it,she`s not my POTUS candidate. We have enough sellouts to our constitution.

Anybody who supports Juan is a loser (myself included (I voted for Palin, and by association, Juan) - though I’m a sore loser).

Just because I like her, doesn’t mean I have to support every decision she makes. That’s her choice, not mine. I just hope the people of Arizona make the right choice. I’m not keeping track with what is going on over there, is McCain a shoe in or does he have some real competition that can knock him out of the senate
