Congressional Republicans are right to savor Scott Browns stunning Senate victory. Democrat Martha Coakleys self-destructive gaffes notwithstanding, conservative Republican Browns formidable 52 percent to 47 percent win is akin to Rep. Barney Frank surfacing in Salt Lake City and, three weeks later, zooming past a pro-market entrepreneur right into the Senate.
Massachusetts voters rejected Kennedy-style liberalism and Obama-Pelosi style leftist overreach. They embraced limited government, fiscal discipline, lighter taxes, and tougher treatment of terrorists. There is no spinning this away. Republicans should enjoy this moment and thank Brown for reminding the GOP of how to run a winning campaign.
Once the high-fiving and hoisting of beer glasses has abated, however, Congressional Republicans should show Americans how much more they can offer. GOP lawmakers quickly should develop a coherent legislative agenda and promote it throughout this election year. If President Obama and other stunned Democrats gravitate toward the political center and help Republicans implement these objectives on a bipartisan basis, splendid. But if Democrats cling to big-government solutions, Republicans should use this policy shopping list like a latter-day version of 1994s Contract with America. Congressional Republicans mini-platform, which they physically signed in public, helped them capture the House that year.

Its an extremely poorly named plan. Agenda 21 is a UN depopulation fantasy.
Brown was unapolegetic and self assured without appearing shrill or mean. A preternaturally good candidate.
I would specifically link it to the old “Contract with America” by resurrecting that name myself. It might even remind Republicans of what they stand for.
The UN Agenda 21 is all about sustainable development and population control. These days I’m not so sure Agenda 21 isn’t behind the depopulation of Michigan since they want the great lakes basin as a world heritage site.
Michigan doesn’t need the U.N. to depopulate it — just liberal Democrat control of its state government.
Or democrats that proudly support Agenda 21. Guys like the great lakes czar or marxist presidents and governors.
This shows 0 is not backing off one bit.
Yeah, I know SS is a ponzi scheme, but people did pay into it, and many have no other source of income but SS, disability or disability through the VA.
He needs to stand on his own, hold the McBackstbbers at arm's length and generally communicate that he doesn't need to learn “how to do it” from failures that never did it when it was right in their hands.
The slurry seducing sugary sludge of the brown nose crowd is his next obstacle course.
