Look what the govt. did to the 3/1 Haditha Marines. In particular to Staff Sargent Frank Wuterich, who has yet to get his day in court after 4 years of being charged of multiple murders, and of Lt. Col Chessani, same case, different charges. Case originally thrown out due to unlawful command influence, but govt. wouldn't quit, wanted to destroy his retirement as they did his career

The rest of the squad eventually was acquitted, charges dropped, or in the case of Cpl Mendoza, said anything the prosecutor wanted him to say in return for immunity and a job in the prosecutor's motor pool.

***Millions*** of dollars, the full weight of NCIS and cheap tricks by the pentagon have been and still are being used to bleed the 3/1, none of which had millions of dollars, the DOD, WAPO, Time, Murtha, SecNav, etc on their side.
