Obama's State of the Union agenda: Yes, I get it

WASHINGTON (AP) - Seizing a chance to reconnect, President Barack Obama will use his first State of the Union address to try to persuade the people of a frustrated nation that he's on their side, with a familiar sounding agenda recast to relate better to everyday struggles. In a time of deep economic insecurity, Obama will use this stage on Wednesday to offer hope after a grueling, grinding first year of his presidency, aides say. For the many who think the United States is still on the wrong track, Obama will attempt to present a clearer sense of how everything he's pursuing fits together to help.

“It’s” is the contraction for “it is.” Where as “its” is the possessive for “it.” Just saying. Good spelling is helpful when you call others “idiots.”

His ship has sailed. I’ve said it before that I know a number of young independants and republicans who voted for him. They believed his lies about transforming American politics and bringing people together to build a better country. They now know it was a giant con and many have finally done some research and see he has been a life long socialist con-man.

There is nothing this clown can say that will change anybody’s mind. He is incapable of getting it, and yet the people have gotten it quite clearly by now. Our most “transparent “ supreme leader is all too transparent - the people see right through him by now, and they’re nauseated by any further exposure.

The spin of the media is no longer trusted either. They have put gobs of expensive, glittering lip stick on a hideous and dangerous pig. Many people missed the ruse and kissed that pig the first time around - but they won’t make that mistake a second time.

The man has long been finished, except as a very dangerous radical who still retains enough power to further our nation substantially down the road to ruin. But he won’t do it with the people’s blessing ever again.

If he really was brilliant, or even just a tad intelligent, or if he really gave the first hint of a rat’s behind about this country, he would at least have the decency to resign with dignity. But the narcissism that keeps him so clueless keeps him from coming anywhere near considering that option. Sad.

A deeply flawed man, and a resounding wake-up call for what’s left of our constitutional republic.

The article states: “...to regain his footing Obama is putting himself on the side of the people.”

Note he is “putting himself”...same ol’ same ol’. Just more verbage as his actions show he opposes the people. That is not going to change as the following statement attests to:

“What the speech won’t do is reshape Obama’s agenda, he will defend it anew”.
