If the Jets win, how ironic would that be?

Fiddle - the Colts are going to cream the Jets and Favre will hand the Saints a thumpin’ ....IMHO that is ....

Really in some ways Polian is damned no matter what, if they beat the Jets it “proves” they could have continued the perfect run, if they lose it “proves” they sacrificed the perfect run for nothing.

The fact that they held the Jets season in their hands is why he'd catch hell if they lose today. If they lost to San Diego instead it wouldn't be an issue at all.

I sure hope the Saints win. Our state will have a collective nervous breakdown if they don’t.

So there is a chance? How old were you when the saints were in their last one?

The same age as everyone else :)

Of course if Manning had gotten his leg broken people would be calling Polian an idiot for keeping him in. Everybody loves 20-20 hindsight.

Thanks once again for your work on these threads.

In the NYC area, many Big Blue fans like me and my season ticket holder friends will be going Green today. Later on, we'll be hoping for Drew Brees and Reggie Bush...whom are you pulling for today, or are you one of those dispassionate types who places a wager on whom you think will win? (I figure as a Pats fan it would be REALLY hard for you to root for the Jets...)

I was less than a month old the last time the Vikings played in a Super Bowl.

I'm almost 60 and my Lions never have..........I could live to be as old as Methusela and they never will.

Picks can be made or changed until kickoff. After that, you ride with the one trick pony that brought you. On the people who haven't made picks yet, I won't drop you from the chart until the second game kicks off.

Maybe if the City of Detroit quits picking some loser mayors, it might help the team in some way have a winning season.

Well at least they're not getting any bailout money.

that will leave the Lions as the only NFC franchise to have never made it to the big game.

Come on dude, the season's over, leave the Lions out of this..........let me guess, you enjoy running up and laughing at people who have fallen out of their wheelchairs too don't you?

Of course, “The Big Game” didn’t really start with the SB era and the Lions DID win some NFL Championships before some of today’s favs were even thought of.

Absolutely. The ironic thing about the '72 Dolphins was they were already playing with their backup QB right up until the second half of the AFC championship game.

LOL

GM & Chrysler are in the metro area.

Check out all the Federal Dollars that have gone to that state for the last 40 years.

I really don’t care who wins either game today. I think the sports writers are pulling for the Jets and Vikings.
