Ed Schultz Tells Robert Gibbs He's Full of (Obama) - Gibbs Responds With F-Bomb
Sunday, January 24, 2010 | Kristinn

Posted on 01/24/2010 9:41:09 AM PST by kristinn

(Note: MSNBC host Ed Schultz spoke last night at the Blue State Bash sponsored by KTNF-950AM held at the Minneapolis Convention Center. The Web site The Uptake posted a video report of his speech in which he relates an off-camera swearing match with White House spokesman Robert Gibbs.)

SNIP

Schultz: "I know this this (sic) of those being recorded but I wasn't told it was off the record but Mister Gibbs I had quite a conversation off the air the other night and I'm going to tell you I told him he was full of (Obama), is what I told him. I mean I did. and then he gave me that Dick Cheney F bomb the same way Senator Leahy got it on the senate (sic) floor. So I told Robert Gibbs, I said and I'm sorry you're swearing at me but, you know I'm just trying to help you out. I'm telling you you're losing your base.

"Do you understand that you're losing your base?

"And that the American people they don't want public option, the American people want single payer!"

YouTube video of Schultz's speech.

And .. how often did Cheney curse ..?? Once on the floor of the Senate - to a Senator who indeed deserved that comment and much more.

I’m sorry .. but sometime it’s necessary. In the movie when Harrison Ford stood up in front of the huge guy with a huge sword .. the curse word he used was the only word that worked .. and then he shot the guy.

So .. it’s only necessary when it’s necessary.

However, the liberals do seem to have an abundance of potty-mouthed people - Hillary is one of the worst.

I would do nothing to dispel the commonly-held notions of Mr. Schultz and his ilk. They are the very base of the modern Democrat Party, which has not only become ever-more explicitly socialist, but also dominated by radical gay activists, "Green" pinheads, union layabouts, trial lawyers, and other social undesirables.

They are collectively scaring the living bejeezus out of mainstream Americans of independent mind and steering them back toward the traditional center-right locus of American politics. So: rave on Keith Olbermann! Bring on more Maddow! Give Ed Schultz more open mike time - please; because America has become addicted to big government and needs to be scared straight.

I just think there are other ways to speak. Cursing definitely lowers the intelligence level of the person saying it. Only my opinion of course. Everyone has different principles.

I definitely agree with you .. my personal policy is against using curse words to accomplish anything.

However, sometimes, like in Cheney’s case, dishing it back out works.

The Democrat party needs more spokesmen like Ed Schultz. I hope MSNBC keeps him on along with Keith and Chris. They have swung so many independent voters over to their side. You boys keep it up.

“Circular firing squads are much more enjoyable when it's the other side doing it to themselves”

Right you are. How ironic that about 12 months ago Jimmy Carville was declaring the GOP dead and pronouncing the beginning of a 40 yr Democratic majority. Politics is a fickle game and just when you think you have it figured out, you realize you don't know anything.

“I hate it when intelligent people curse”

But you have to admit telling someone they’re full of obama is a great way to substitute another word.

Funny stuff.
The ideal thing for Republicans would be if the Democrats actually do worry about pandering to the atheists, gold-chained union thugs, welfare grandmothers, abortion enthusiasts, condom-throwers, Boy Scout-hating lesbians, hand-wringing college professors, Hollywood drunks, and the rest of the parasites, losers, and goofballs who comprise the Democrat party “base”.

With any luck this will become a very, very exclusive affair before too long.

No, Air America Minnesota is not affiliated with Air America the bankrupcty. Air America Minnesota is run by a politically connected liberal in Minnesota and strong arms liberals running businesses to support the station by donations and “memberships”.

If you ever listened to Ed Schultz on the radio you would shake your head. He freely reverses positions on everything at will depending on the direction of the wind. Just a few days ago I heard him complaining that Obama never ran on single payer so it was a mistake to go down that road, yet then he turns around and blathers how much support there is for it.

Consistancy is never Ed’s middle name. He is in it (broadcasting progressive garbage) for the money and people around him know he doesn’t believe 10% of what he spews.

That’s because they’ve already lost the argument .. so there’s nothing else for them to say .. proving they’re idiots.
