Micheal Williams has many more qualifications than being “African-American.” He really is conservative, pro-life, has shown leadership and constructive, functional imagination and thoughtfulness. I believe he has the skills and convictions to be a fantastic Texas Senator.

The discussion of Commissioner Williams’ “development” (interviewer’s term) of his conservative politics begins about 18 1/2 minutes in.

I think he does have a clean “closet. He’s consistant each time I’ve met and heard him speak. I’ve also met his wife and she is great. I don’t think she’d put up with anything else.

I don’t think he’s light-skinned enough for Harry Reid.

Two outstanding spokesmen for true conservatism: Michael Williams, TX, for U. S. Senate, and Lt. Col. Allen West, FL, for Congress. They are a double threat to the counterfeit claims of the Far Left, because they can draw the attention of minorities away from the oppressive politics of the Democrats and toward the ideas of liberty envisioned by America's Founders.

Independent thought frightens and threatens the enemies of freedom, because their very existence relies on control and censorship of ideas.

"I believe he has the skills and convictions to be a fantastic Texas Senator."<

As do I.

I've been following his career since the 2000 Texas State GOP Convention in Houston, which Commissioner Williams chaired, and which he ran fairly and efficiently, but with an iron hand!

He is apparently a true conservative, and a fantastic speaker!

Wouldn’t it be great to hear ole Harry Reid talk about Michael Williams? I bet he’d have a few juicy quotes to entertain us.

I heard him speak at the 2008 convention. Outstanding speaker and a true conservative. I’d support him for anything he chose to run for.

I’m supporting Elizabeth Ames Jones. Do some research on her. I think you will like what you see.

We had the opportunity to meet her and spend some one on one time with her. We were very impressed.

Looks like a bit of racism on Evan Smith’s part, but I thought you’d want to see this description of Commissioner Michael Williams of Texas in terms of Ambassador Keyes.

That's great to know. I'm just saying. Be prepared to see him get the Palin treatment if there's anything remotely attack-worthy in his background. A powerful black who's off the liberal plantation is seen as a major threat to the Left.

Yeah, yeah, yeah.... as a stepinfetchit for Jorge Arbusto and the Texas Oil Mafia, I'm sure he's a very "compassionate" man....

So what specifically is Williams proposing to help wean us off our addictive consumption of Oil???

For instance, as Texas Railroad Commissioner, what did he do to promote fuel efficient passenger rail service in Texas???
(Besides keeping the price of gasoline propped up by limiting the supply on the market... That IS what the Texas RR Commission actually does you know.... screw consumers by limiting the gasoline supply...)

1) Elizabeth Ames Jones is, forgive me, very dumb. She is the antithesis of “impressive.” I encourage you to pay just a bit of attention to her and you will quickly see what a mental midget she is. She is a parody waiting to happen.

2) WillieGreen, the Railroad Commission has nothing to do with railroads, hence nothing to do with fuel efficient rail service. And they have nothing to do with “limiting the gasoline supply.” They regulate production of oil, gas, pipelines, uranium mining. No railroads.

But to answer your question, Williams has been the main proponent of clean Texas energy sources, promoting clean coal, propane and natural gas. Do just a little research (which clearly you have done none), he backs up the talk.

Michael L. Williams was first appointed to the Texas Railroad Commission by Jorge Arbusto in 1998.
He chaired the Commission from September 1999 to September 2003 and again from June 2007 until present.
The rail oversight functions of the Railroad Commission were transferred to the Texas Department of Transportation effective October 1, 2005.

So Michael Williams served on the commission for 7 YEARS while it still had regulatory power over the rails, 4 YEARS as the commission chair.
So questioning his record with regard to passenger rail is a legitimate concern that should be addressed directly.
Not dodged with a bumbling/stumbling Texas Two-Step by trying to pretend that Williams and the Railroad Commission had "nothing to do with rail service".

And they have nothing to do with “limiting the gasoline supply.” They regulate production of oil, gas...

Where would I ever get the impression that regulating oil production might have some relation to limiting gasoline???
How silly of me!! It really must all depend on what the meaning of "IS" is....
Yeah, that's gotta be it...

Oh BTW... please tell Michael Williams that was actually sarcasm,
I'm not swallowing Texas Oil Mafia Junk Science this year just because it has a different label than the Algore brand.

What’s your problem with using what is working and available, now? Oil, information . . .

Demanding, aren’t you? And you want *everything* spoon fed to you, even though you are unwilling to do your own homework - or at least watch the video I posted.

Try to give 3 minutes (probably less time than it took for you to format your rant) and watch the video from 5:00 to 7:00.

Drill baby drill! Drill here, drill now!

Oh, I suppose a few phrases pop instantly to mind: "Myopic, irresponsible, short-sighted, lacking vision and leadership" are among them.

Demanding, aren’t you?

Yep.... and proud of it!!!

And you want *everything* spoon fed to you,

Not necessarily...
but ya gotta admit, life would be a whole lot easier for everybody else if I didn't have to pry it out of 'em with a crow bar... LOL!
