There’s a man by the name of Vernon Parker interested in running for John Shadegg’s seat. IIRC, he’s the mayor of a city in the district? (I hope I have the district correct).

Gorman from Anthem would be the best to repace Shadegg

Ah, well, I hope the seat remains Republican.

I specifically said “worshipers” versus saying supporters. There is a difference to me. The worshipers can not handle anything but adoration for their chosen one. Supporters, tend to be more discerning about candidates. Supporters recognize the good, the bad and the ugly of their chosen candidate and decided the good outweighs the package. They are a whole lot less freaky.

Pamela Gorman from Anthem would be the best.

Nope, not a chance. He didn’t stand a chance the other times he ran either, but you can’t have more than 2 terms so hopefully, after Dean is done, John can take over.

The Palin worshipers, similar to the Obama worshipers, are now rooting for McCain cause Palin is on his team.

That's BS. Just look at my tagline and JimRob’s posts.

Who are you talking about? Goddard? You can hold state office other than gov for more than two terms. So we’re talking 11 years from now for John for Gov?

So you all are thinking a mayor from Paradise Valley stands more of a chance than a state house rep like Gorman?

Goddard doesn’t stand a chance. John needs to have some down time to earn some decent money for his family. I back Dean Martin for Governor, I don’t think John is coming home to run for office. If he is, I’ll rethink my position.

Yes, I know precisely what you said, and I know almost all, if not all, of Sarah's supporters here, but I cannot name one who supports McCain because Sarah is lending her support to him and that was your indictment.

A very few people here actually do support McCain and that's their choice, but they will tell you that Sarah's endorsement had nothing to do with it.

LOL, you aren’t the brightest bulb on the tree are you? You read something and extrapolate all kinds of meaning into it. Go ahead, you only make a fool of yourself to those reading the thread.

No, I have no opinion. I don't live in AZ, so I am only asking you all.

I have first cousins residing in AZ. Retired from CA. I am hesitant to tell you who they're planning to vote for....lol.

He/she was aiming that comment at me onyx. Personally, I think we have to wait until the primary and see which one is the best. He/she keeps trying to put words in my mouth about Goddard (who is our very liberal AG who has run for governor so many times and lost and it’s a running joke around here.)

Who else besides Goddard is running for Gov on the Dem side?
