Were (are) the Tea Parties effective or what?
Vanity | Jan 25, 2010 | Jim Robinson

Posted on 01/25/2010 11:55:30 AM PST by Jim Robinson

Can they hear us now?

They tried and tried to ignore us and pretend we did not exist, but they're not ignoring us now. And there's gonna be hell to pay this November. The Tea Party has declared war on the political ruling class and, IMHO, it will be an effective war.

Incumbents beware!

Just vote them out in 2010!!

Meanwhile, Chief Justice Roberts is cleaning house!!

Woo hoo!!

Rebellion is brewing!!

What say you?

If they weren’t, the left wouldn’t bother attacking them like they are.

The ‘Tea Party’ movement has both sides worried, as well they should be.

That march was the best thing I have ever done! It was wonderful in every way.

Now, we need as many freepers as possible to attend the 2nd Amendment March in DC, at the Washington Monument on April 19. I'll be there, and sure hope to see a lot of freepers joining in!

They’ve been hearing us all along considering their original goal was to pass the unconstitutional, socialist health care legislation before the August recess last year. The tea parties created a bottleneck for many other socialist pieces of legislation because we spoke out against the socialist agenda.

I think they were.

They have surely raised the level of consciousness of citizens around the country. Many now see and look at this Administration and libs differently or maybe more closely.

Libs of course ore stuttering mad hatters now ... it surely did get their attention.

You know you’re right and being effective when the lamestream media first tries to ignore you than tries to denigrate you. By these measures the Tea Parties are working. Look for the RINOs to start trying to co-opt the movement.

They’re scared, which is why they try to paint us as old, white, racist, ignorant dittoheads. Scott Brown’s victory in the bluest of blue states puts the lie to all of that. Now we need to take back the GOP, uprooting the Rockefeller/Romney Republicans root and branch! Let’s start at the precinct level and start right away!!

Remember the Democrats in this “cleaning out” process. We can’t win in a fight if we try to ride in the back of the Republicans’ buses. It’s hard to create full-service political party, when we don’t share a whole lot beyond a love of freedom.

We need to get our Democrat friends to clean out their own party. Out with the Socialists, out with the man-haters, out with Washington Aristocrats. Democrats love freedom, maybe not as much as Jim Robinson, but they can feel their own enslavement just as we can.

The ‘Tea Party’ movement has both sides worried, as well they should be.

The great thing about the Tea Party movement is there is no way of measuring how big it actually is except for elections. Consequently, politicians on both sides have to leave it up to their imaginations how many wolves are at the door.

Yep, the Senate Ethics Committee tried to whitewash the Dodd/Dorgan Countrywide scandal. But they failed. Epically. Largely because of the Tea Party sentiment.

I can't recall the last time I've seen so many retirements from Congress by the Dems. Usually they have to be taken out in a wheelchair.
