A year of fecklessness, amateurism, and posturing
National Review Online ^ | 1/25/2010 | Conrad Black

The president has three principal problems. He is well to the left of the public and of what he promised the voters in 2008, and his is an old, passé leftism — one that is authoritarian and deviously presented, and was discredited in this country decades ago; it featured the sort of nostrums that caused Bill Clinton and others to become “New Democrats.” Obama is increasingly perceived as having credibility problems and of being cold, cocksure, narcissistic, and intoxicated by what he modestly called “the gift” of his own articulateness. And, as president, he has been quite, and quite surprisingly, incompetent.

His incompetence surprised whom? Most of us knew well before his election that this was Jimmy Carter II.

I tend to agree with you on that (not being surprised by the level of incompetence), rather than with Conrad Black. Actually, if I may vent — the past 9-10 months have been like some kind of bad science fiction or surreal nightmare where everyone around me has been walking around like Pod People humming songs of praise to this empty suit (or as my dear husband says, “President Short Pants.”) We *knew* this was going to happen, we *knew* what a phony BHO is and was, and yet here we are. God help us.

Exactly, I knew he was going to be bad. And bad he is. However, even I am surprised at the level of narcissism, underhanded nastiness and complete incompetence shown by this buffoon.

Let’s face it, everyone on this site, except for the trolls, new Obowmao was a left-wing disaster in the making. No one here gets any points for pointing it out.

You do get points if you are a deprogrammed Democrat.

I don’t see how this flies, when the State of Hawaii has certified the President was born there. There are no other standards. Not having a paper birth certificate is not the same as not being born in the U.S.
