HA...we LIVE in Oregon....and I think we’ll vacation in Montana this year!
Well, the ignorant believe they’ve voted themselves some kind of ‘raise’—they won’t get a damn thing from their vote for theft, and that’s exactly what it is.
The thieves won tonight, make no mistake.
the prices of homes in california has dropped and we have a lot better weather. If one makes $125,000 plus or $250,000 as a couple maybe it is time for a job change or a move.
Those questions are completely irrelevant but, for the record, I’m not in Oregon. I do know about these measures.
I’m not suprised these measures passed. The amount of ads, junk mail, online ads in support of this theft was amazing. I really want to know where all the money came from......
I’ve worked in Oregon; it’s probably more liberal than San Francisco.
In fact....in the midst of starting a biz....we can locate in either WA or OR....we waited to see the results of this to decide where.....looks like it’ll be based out of WA...thanks you idiotic Oregonians!
What questions are irrelevant....I’ve been in the thick of the fight here....please explain all knowing genius
As bad as Oregon is, California I’m afraid is heading for much worse with it’s demographic issues....we’re not too far behind though.
The unions is where the money came from....Teachers, SEIU, etc....outspent the NO side by 4 : 1
Either way they will live with the very different consequences...High taxes and a CA/MI economic environment...Or, at least, the possibility of prosperity and economic sanity....
You’re moving the goalposts. I’m actually very curious to hear how this was not populist backlash against high income earners—seriously. That’s the general tenor of every story I’ve read about it.
This was about the LIES told by the unions in their ads.
I don’t think WA is much better. That is one of the reasons Boeing is building the 787 in SC.
NO Income tax in Washington....NO taxes on GROSS receipts...
I hear that giant sucking sound taking OR jobs into TX, SC and TN.
Well I’m not moving to Oregon now...

How in the world can it pass?? This is going to destroy us, thank you universal HC and unions.
Pray for Freedom
Polling suggested the final count could be closer. The heavy vote was a result of a new law that allows mailed in ballots to be scanned days in advance of the close of voting.

Secretary of State Kate Brown predicted that 62 percent of the state’s 2 million registered voters will have mailed in or dropped off their ballots. Oregon doesn’t use traditional voting polls.
