POLITICO's Kasie Hunt, who's in the House chamber, reports that Justice Samuel Alito mouthed the words "not true" when Obama criticized the Supreme Court's campaign finance decision.

Yes. I just mentioned this on he SUTU thread. Alito basically said, “You LIE!” and here we have it.
I hope the MSM grills Alito tomorrow to have him verify, or deny these allegations.

now since the Obamanation professes to be so concerned about “foreign money” and “special interests” funding US campaigns, when will the Mediascum zero in on the Zero’s own fraudulent campaign funding to historic and massive proportions???
someone think of the right slogan and this would be the perfect time to launch a public pressure movement DEMANDING that Obambi/Biden release ALL donor records of 2008....
i.e., one public message now should be “prove that you’re clean before you hypocricize (made that word up) before the nation and the world about dirty campaign funding, foreign and special interest funds etc.”
Well, I’ve looked for these kinds of “texts” of major speeches before, and I have a heck of a time finding them... so when I got this one, I knew that everyone would like to have it for quoting, for going back and seeing certain sections, and for analyzing certain things he said...
So, I don’t post the actual text of the State of the Union address except in that thread (and actually one other place, too...) — and only reference that one thread for everyone else’s “reference”. And, it’s only posted in any other thread — if — it is in reference to the State of the Union speech and it’s not in any threads which is on any other subject, except just the subject of the State of the Union, itself...
I think I’ve kept it pretty tight and compact, actually... :-)

How soon before Congress starts the impeachment of Justice Alito. Get the case for the Birth Certificate in a area that Alito is responsible and he can get it to the full court.

My daughter had a school assignment to watch the SOTU and record some observations.
I was pointing out the Supreme Court to her when she noticed one justice clearly shaking his head in disbelief (I thought it was Alito but wasn’t sure).
She laughed and said, “He doesn’t believe what he’s hearing.”
“None of the smart ones do,” was my response.
His Hugo Chavez moment.
He keeps blaming Bush how many times did R.R. blame carter with the mess he inherited? Zero!

Looks like maybe the power of the Executive branch might shrink some at the very least.
While quite an unwise move to attack a body that cannot defend itself in a public forum, it might have been just the thing that saves us.
Obama is such an arrogant fool. He's literally DARING the Supreme Court to take up the birth certificate/eligibility cases.
I have never in my life seen a president attack one of the other branches of government like this. And in such a high profile forum like the SOTU speech, of all places.

well, Alito wasn’t on his side to begin with, but I doubt he’ll be giving the WH or SG the benefit of the doubt in any future cases.
The bigger impact is on Kennedy. He waffles more. I wonder how he’ll respond now that the President basically called him out on natl tv as an incompetent fool.
Say what you will about Kennedy but he arguably saved us from President Gore. I wouldn’t be surprised uf this draws him closer to the four conservatives.

Notice also, he dissed the Congress itself, by saying he will issue executive order to bypass their refusal to set up deficit commission.
He's dissing Constitutional separation of powers, trying to consolidate power in executive branch (for himself).

That’s EXACTLY how I took this action by the Supreme Court myself.
What the Supreme Court did by overturning McCain-Feingold was “level the financial playing field for the presidential election in 2012. What the Supreme Court did was give the Republicans a blank check (they are the party of big business after all).
I just hope it’s enough to offset the “war chest of the world” that Obama will be pulling from in the next election!
I think his lecturing the SC justices to their face was very bad form...just very bad form.
