Sen. Russ Feingold (D-Wis.) sharply criticized Samuel Alito's reaction to President Barack Obama's State of the Union address, calling the conservative Supreme Court justices behavior inappropriate.
During last night's address, Obama took aim at the Supreme Court's decision to gut campaign finance restrictions for corporations and labor unions. While Supreme Court justices typically maintain stoic dispositions during State of the Union addresses, Alito, who joined the 5-4 opinion, appeared to mouth the words not true as Obama spoke.
"That's not very judicial of him," Feingold told POLITICO. "Apparently, he thinks he gets to make the law. He should maintain his judicial demeanor, and that was inappropriate."

Obama told a lie on top of everything about the ruling that even the NY Times said was wrong but Feingold goes after Justice Alito.
Time for Feingold to hit the umemployment line.
Consider the source, who’s the idiot that wrote the law.
Russ Feingold is a gigantic wanker.
No dumbass, that's not what he thinks at all.
You, as a legislator, get to make the law. But the law that you make doesn't get to abridge the first amendment.
And when it does, it is Alito's duty to his office to invalidate your law. Got it?
The camera switched at the moment Obama made his lying comment of the SCOTUS decision to record the SCOTUS judges to catch any reaction. Alito's body reaction and his comment was not said to anyone but himself.
What planet are the left from?
Is this 2010 or 2012? We have to get this POS voted out along with Juan McCain.
Reminiscent of the FDR days when he attacked the Supreme court because they were for the Constitution and not for FDR’s Facist agenda.
Wow, a Supreme Court Justice is not allowed even a reaction now when he is being lied about and chastised in front of the whole nation.
NY Times rips Odumbas*.....
Geee, isn’t that how our alleged prez defamed the Cambridge Policeman?
Feingold, the champion of free speech. That Feingold?
Any decent campaign run against Feingold will end his senate career this year.
Maybe instead he and Roberts, Scalia and Thomas should have stood up and sang, “Stop, in the Name of Love.”
Feingold is 0bama’s rump-swab. This is beyond disgusting ... Does Feindgold want to legislate what we all must bow and grovel befor 0bama the Magnificent?
And Obama’s remarks about the SCOTUS were unsuitable.
Get over it, Russ.
BS! Since when is it socially appropriate to call out someone in public much less in the House and on TV with millions watching?
