Under RICO, a person who is a member of an enterprise that has committed any two of 35 crimes—27 federal crimes and 8 state crimes—within a 10-year period can be charged with racketeering. If it’s just energy it might pass but they need to reign in the EPA and also make sure Waxman’s Manager Amendment is kept out. I shouldn’t need the federal government to determine where I place an electrical outlet in my house or be required to have one of their worthless bureaucrats decide if it’s energy efficient enough for them before selling it.
