The totalitarian, anti-freedom, and anti-business policies and core ideology of the Democratic party is once again trying to make life harder and more expensive for individuals and businesses in California. Democrats in Sacramento have declared they have discovered a new “menace to California’s environment:” free parking.

According to the Los Angeles Times, the Democratic lawmakers are upset that there is too much free parking in California and that encourages us to drive our cars rather than walk, take a bus, take a subway, ride a bike, or ride a horse.

They can not tax “free”.

Make everyone charge for parking, then they will add a tax to it.

A decade ago mayor Susan Savage wanted this crap in Tulsa. Fortunately she lacked the tools to accomplish it.

That is why I am never going back to California. Its just too expensive and too much of a hassle to live there.

These fools have become so obsessed with their Marxist/Socialist agenda that they think they now have Totalitarian rule and control over the population. They feel it is their duty and right to control behavior of the masses. And there is nothing we can now do to stop them.

At least that is what they think.......

I can’t wait to get out of California

I'm going to stay and fight for the place I call home and the land I love. It was this way in the 70s and we took it back through the 80s and early 90s. We'll take it back again.

And just what do these “lawmakers” pay for indoor parking at the state capitol? Betcha it’s free to them because it’s paid for by the CA Taxpayer.

You can’t tax free

Sure you can. I have to pay the state (CA) $8.00 every time I give away a computer monitor.

Alan Lowenthal from my old hometown of Long Beach is livid people park their cars where they like. So he wants to get them to stop driving cars. California going bankrupt and all the Democrats can think of is to drive people out of the state. They will do that never return again.

Hope you love the taxes and having to take your car in ever other year for the dreaded smog check test. You couldn't pay me to live there today.

They can’t tax the act of moving out of state, by increasing tides of businesses and job-creating individuals.

Not yet, anyway.
