When l was a little girl my Father would recite that poem.l used to shudder at the end.To-day it is so cold, minus 11 degrees.l can understand how old Sam felt.l feel like l will never be warm.l wish now l had asked my Father if they were taught to memorize the poem in school or if he liked it so much he did it on his own.
