NEW YORK (CNNMoney.com) -- Super Bowl network CBS rejected an ad Friday from ManCrunch.com, a gay dating Web site.
"After reviewing the ad, which is entirely commercial in nature, our standards and practices department decided not to accept this particular spot," said CBS spokeswoman Shannon Jacobs. "We are always open to working with a client on alternative submissions." "It's straight-up discrimination," said Elissa Buchter, spokeswoman for the Toronto-based dating site.

Because they seek to validated by the acceptance of others since their behavior is outside the norm.
The problem is that most, and certainly never all, will accept and validate their behavior, whether it is due to genetics, culture or personal choice.

They just got all the FREE publicity they need, without the crushing expense of a Super Bowl ad, if you’re looking for homo’s, look no further than CNN viewers.

"It's straight-up discrimination," said Elissa Buchter, spokeswoman for the Toronto-based dating site. Here's a Canadian quarter, Elissa. Call somebody who gives a cr@p.
In the meantime, stop whining about not having every venue in existence available for you to wave your deviant lifestyle in our faces.

I find it doubtful that this group even had the money. Even if they did, it would not be a wise business decision to actually believe that substantial new revenue generation would be seen from a 30 second ad on a show that would find their target audience in short supply.
No, what they wanted...and got....was a place on the national stage of morning talk shows, thousands of curious site hits etc.
