Graham: Congress Needs A Win On Climate Policy
National Journal ^ | 2010-01-27

Posted on 01/29/2010 9:37:42 PM PST by rabscuttle385

Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., said today that skeptical Republicans and Democrats should throw their support behind climate change legislation not only because it's good for the economy and the environment, but because Congress desperately needs a win under its belt.

"We tried immigration. It's hard. And we failed. We tried Social Security. It's hard. And we failed. We tried health care. It's really hard. And it looks like we're going to have to start over again," Graham somberly told a luncheon audience of energy and climate advocates on the Hill. "On the energy, climate change front, I don't want to add that to the list. There is no reason in my mind that the Republican Party and the Democratic Party can't come together."

Time to have the Tea-Party find a solid conservative to run and beat Graham in the primaries. This amnesty RINO guy needs to be booted out once and for all time.

The government needs ever more money to stay afloat. I predict it’s going to be one madcap plan after another until something sticks and we’re on the hook and drained dry.

LOL! Graham has his own statue. If he is so hot to be successful at something, maybe he should try hanging himself.

Talk about urinating in the punch bowl just as the party is starting! Graham, get a clue! People don’t want Congress succeeding at anything these days!

The whore needs to be put out pasture with his pimp, McLaim. They can rub each other with enviro-friendly, carbon-neutral personal lubricants while enjoying an extravagant retirement on the taxpayers’ expense. [barf]

I never understand how they can make that “good for the economy” comment with a straight face. If making us destroy perfectly good vehicles and equipment in order to purchase green ones makes good economic sense, why don’t they mandate that we then have to destroy all those new green cars adter only a year of use so that people will be forced to buy EVEN MORE of them. That will really stimulate manufacturing and the economy. Idiots.

Who the ^%^$# cares about Congress “needing a win”? This isn’t a $@#^ing baseball game, you moron! Do we have the stupidest legislators in the world representing us, or what??? This is why you should never give money to the RNC. They’ll turn around and use it to re-elect guys like this!! Give directly to the candidate or not at all.

(sorry, rabscuttle, I’m not mad at you)

Dis be why we need mxain GONE, GONE, GONE this November. Sooner, if possible. Without mxain, linseed is powerless. He doesn’t have the connections. mxain is his sugar daddy.
There has GOT to be huge money at stake in this climate crap.
Everyone keeps talking about this worldwide obesity epidemic. What do bears do before it gets very cold and they need to hibernate? They gain weight as fast as they can so the fat sustains them through the winter.
The world population has been growing steadily fatter for at least a decade now. It’s getting cold, folks.
People with no propensity for obesity have been gaining weight and no one knows why. You would think some of the mad scientists we have screaming about the global warming hoax would look at this and say, “hmmm.”
Been watching this for quite awhile. When I was doing research for a patent, I found photos of people throughout the decades. When we were going through the early industrial age, peoples’ nostrils were bigger to allow for easier breathing. Noses were wider with thicker nosehair. Eyelashes were thicker. Hair was thicker in peoples’ ears. Natural adaptation to protection from pollution.
Now the world population is gaining extra body mass because it is getting colder and it will get worse. It is a survival mechanism.
These global warming policies will kill people. MANY people.
