Jeb Bush is back, and some think he's looking presidential - ROLLING MY EYES GAG ALERT.

Posted on 02/01/2010 2:48:30 PM PST by RED SOUTH

The capper came Thursday when, at the top of the 7 o'clock hour, right after Vice President Joe Biden, Bush made a rare network television appearance on NBC's Today Show. The intensely private Bush's interview with the overly familiar Matt Lauer rattled Florida political circles.

Was this the beginning of a Jeb juggernaut that would culminate in a 2012 presidential bid?

Jeb is laying the groundwork for another Bush run at the White House.

That dog won’t hunt!

Too many recall his cowardice, as it pertained to letting Terri
be starved and dehydrated to death.

Note to trolls:

Don’t waste band width telling us he couldn’t do anything.

Yeah the original plan was for him to lay low until 2014, then resurface when nobody remembered what the Bushes have done.
The time table has been moved up now that Obama is starting to look like a one term President.

Be very skeptical of the person.

Jeb lost his chance when he let the lawyer/judge ghouls in Fl.
steal Terri Schiavo’s life. He could have stepped in to stop it and become a huge hero (with a price to be paid.)
Real Americans would have sung his praises but he wussed out instead. No more Bushkies please!

A Bush has been on the ballot in 1988, 1992, 2000, and 2004. Then again in 2012?

Two words come to mind when I think of Jeb...

Terri Schiavo

May she forever rest in peace.

He could have done something to save her and return her to her family who loved and would care for her.

He just sat back and let her die.

I may be wrong in my thinking (I usually am) but that is how I see it and for that I will NEVER forgive or vote for him.

The key word is some... the question is how many people does it take to make “some people”, two? four? Let’s see, there’s George senior, Ma Bush, Jeb’s wife, maybe, I don’t think GW would give the nod, but lets say he did, that’s four... that’s about it ain’t it?

Jeb Bush was fighting for Terri in all honesty but when crunch time came at the end he dropped the ball and let the little, gollum headed swamp judge Greer trump him into not acting with bravery to save Terri. It was his moment to shine and be a true hero. Very sad how it turned out but it ruined Jeb Bush’s chance for Pres.

Well sure, you can’t have a dynasty without succession. It was going to be a Clinton BUSH alternating dynasty until Obama muscled into the equation. Don’t forget that the Clintons, the Bushes, and Karl Rove all vacation together. This was pointed on evening on the Hannity Show during the election cycle time period

this would be the rinos @ the rnc (ie: progressives) trying to do anything they can to derail Sarah’s inevitable POTUS run

when was the last time a right leaning candidate was able to bring 40,000 people out to listen to a speech? and if you’re the rnc... wouldn’t you *want* to use that in order to insure victory? yet they keep trying to dilute her popularity. this is because she is a CONSERVATIVE candidate and not a progressive

people wonder why the presidential candidates they have to vote for always seem the same. that would be because they are really in the same party. they aren’t democrat or republican... they are progessive.

As much as people have "bush fatigue" Jeb was a great governor of Florida.

I have always said he is the most conservative of the Bush brothers, and compared to what might run in 2012, he isn't a bad choice except for Gov. Palin.

Let's see Barack Obama or Jeb Bush for President in 2012. Tough choice !!!!

From the article: “``I think that leaders on both sides of the aisle need to figure out where there is common ground and at least focus on that,’’ he said. ``It’s one thing to give a good speech. The other thing is to invite people that don’t agree exactly with your point of view to build consensus.’’

This from the governor who presided over some of Florida’s most hyper-partisan battles of the last decade? Who helped declare his brother the winner of the 2000 presidential recount, threw out affirmative action with the ``One Florida’’ program, made the FCAT the end-all be-all of the public schools and insisted on getting in between brain-damaged Terri Schiavo and her husband?”

What was Jeb Bush’s opinion on the Schiavo subject?

What a pitiful excuse for leadership. Tell George P. not to bother trying either.
