Believe me, nothing is free. The state will give you a grant that
covers 25-40% of the cost of the equipment they want you to
upgrade to. The 5 years of reporting and paperwork requirements
that are required when you receive the grant is amazing.

Basically they give you 50K towards a 100K+ truck. then you let them
know what you’ve done with the truck annually for the next 5 years.

They also have a limit on were you can drive the truck.
The Long Beach grants states, you can’t drive beyond a 100 mile
radius from the Long Beach Harbor.
